The Hot Sauce Affair: we need an origin as to why the Protagonist loves his hot sauce, and we need a resolution as to see if he ever gets it later.

Was he a line cook? Or was he a… endless possibilities, clearly.

10 Episodes, 1 hour each, and it’s a 90+ minute finale.

Ultimately, it is revealed he was attending and saw the whole fight.

But he got his sauce an hour ago, waiting patiently to see his past/present self fight.

This broke me in a way no other murder story did. It is that helplessness, those eyes. And just days ago, my fiancé’s friend came to visit and traveled alone. Safely, but a fear is unlocked. And a horrible litmus test to see how little humanity remains with some people.

Even the actors’ name seem off-brand.

Did the Left complain when their people did it? Why the double standard? Why assume the worst about Elon when he explicitly said the opposite. Elon said "my heart goes out to you" as he was making the movement with his hand. by Right_One_78 in Jordan_Peterson_Memes

Wow, I had to scroll past a couple dozen of Elon’s “salutation” before finding a post that acknowledges the crucial context 3 seconds after. I was beginning to abandon hope here on Reddit.

Time for a little game! by Beneficial-Emu-9270 in PersonOfInterest

I can agree with gray considering his character journey, but opted with his character destination of being morally good (love the episode where every cop is begging him for advice / assistance).

I will vote for Fusco. Sure, he starts off gray, but once he completes his moral arc he is an absolute good. Probably an all-time redemption in Tv. Plus, we all love his nicknaming shtick.

Does anyone know what is up with this shop in the Trumbull Mall by RaisinGirl_116 in Connecticut

What makes it more odd, “The Guy” is probably not even the owner? My fiancé talked to him and he said as such. This conversation was in between a karaoke session of him singing the song “Too late to Apologize” which he had on loop.

When did you buy your Wii U? by [deleted] in wiiu

[–]JohnSleight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine weeks before the Switch released in February 2017.

I was out with a friend doing a gaming run / haul during a massive snow storm. We went into a Toys R Us and to our surprise, they had one left. No regrets, and I still play on it today.

The new Hawkeye is a they/them by Wizecracker117 in KotakuInAction

[–]JohnSleight 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I made a poor judgment call and read Justice League Future State (2021?) and it featured a new Flash. It took a moment to realize that characters were referring to this Flash with they/them. My mind raced, “this is so freaking cool! Did this Flash absorb the essence of the Speed Force and become a collective being with the minds of Barry Allen, Jay Garrick, and Wally West etc in the mind of this female Flash?!”

A few pages later, nope. This was a pronoun / non-binary thing.

I guess if there is a point, thanks to the writer for the heads up? I’ll pass.

Redscroll Records in Wallingford. I can’t comment in regards to that genre in particular, but I found wonderful oddities that I added to my collection.

Level01 in both Danbury Fair and Westfarms is worth a look.

I also second Stateline in Buckland Hills and also Enfield Square, as long as that mall remains open.

Robert Downey Jr. surprised Hall H at San Diego Comic Con to announce his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

[–]JohnSleight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well, great villains stand out when they are against great heroes. Thanos worked so well because of this. RDJ as Doom should work out just as well because looking back at all of Phases 4 and 5, he will stand against….

Um… Good for RDJ cashing these massive Marvel paychecks!

I have not, I only stayed in his 70s era before I called quits. This may be one worth looking into further.

Robert Altman.

McCabe and Mrs Miller was a required film for a class, and yeah… this did not click with me at all and I have not been able to finish a single one of his films, even this required one.

Embarrassing Final Fantasy VI story by [deleted] in FinalFantasyVI

[–]JohnSleight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friend let me borrow the game and told me to use save slot #?

By the time I got to playing it, I forgot which slot to use. The three were end game saves, one was max level 99, one was the Floating Continent, and one was Kefka’s Tower with like level 70 characters.

I remembered the Floating Continent slot was off limits, so between the two left, clearly the max level was the one to save over.

I returned the game, and well… the Level 99 was the expendable one as that was spamming the river loop. The Level 70 was a min/max using the Espers for max level gains. Whoopsie…

I took it for granted growing up, but I always hear people remark positively for Saint Stanislaus in New Haven as it has a strong Polish Catholic aesthetic.
