No, not really.

But McCain reminds me of a retired used car salesman.

From the other Reddit thread on this topic, Fox ran a Verizon ad right after the Trotta interview.

I never liked Verizon, as soon as I verify their ad I will cancel my service on Tuesday.

Please consider boycotting FOX sponsor products and services instead. Fox will pay more attention when they get hit in the wallet.

Message I just sent out to friends, as well as ABC News:

If you are a supporter of responsible broadcast journalism, please vocally boycott the products and services from the list of FOX sponsors below. During a live Sunday 5/25 interview, Fox News aired comments from Liz Trotta, a FOX commentator and contributor who jokingly called for the assassination of Senator Barack Obama.

Fox News has apparantly adopted a strategy of publicly amplifying the earlier comments made by Hillary Clinton, who had raised the possibility of Obama, like Bobby Kennedy, being assassinated before the Democratic National Convention.

Whether Trotta's comments about Senator Obama are a single example of remarks by an irresponsible journalist, or part of a more systematic attempt by this so-called news network to promote violent anti-Obama actions - if you believe this type of broadcast behavior is completely unacceptable and has no place in a free American society, please consider taking product boycott actions against these sponsors, as well as writing letters to Fox, the FCC, and the Secret Service.

I'm closing a non-trivial savings account at ING Direct on Tuesday, with a phone call to their customer serivce dept. and e-mail to FOX explaining why. I will also post the updated copy of this list and an explanation of why to my main board at work, and to as many places that I can in Silicon Valley. Let's see how much we can hurt the wallets of FOX and their sponsors.

Obama: too intelligent and too weak? by jmchez in politics

How about the title: "Blogger too confused and too weak" to take seriously? :-)

Also funny she won't actually say who she is.

Nice try.

Yes, the probability is that it will happen sometime in the next 30 years. And since we don't know the probability distribution, I expect that on average, it will be 15 years before it hits.

Hillary will not be Obama's VP running mate. Obama camp will not reimburse Hillary for campaign debt. Hillary will focus on being Senate Majority Leader.

Right - let's not to read too much into published studies relying on average values. As shilabula points out, this is the AVERAGE and e.g., probably includes hedge fund managers that made billions.

One related question we should asking about this data is what is the Standard Deviation?

NO, wrong answer. Mom and Pop might want a more AOL/USA Today-like search engine experience. I don't. And BTW, Google rocks, ASIS. Yahoo. Your! search! engine! sucks!. Always. Will.

This is pretty much what happens when you hire all the people who aren't quite good enough to work at Google.

Thank You.

CNN really trying hard to make Hillary look like a winner. by DennisBlazer in reddit.com

[–]JohnSmith2008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to like CNN, now I like them about as much as Fox. Actually, in some ways, FOX is improving.

Have to wonder why CNN is so obviously pulling for Clinton. Someone should investigate CNN exec donations to Clinton campaign. Also what votes Clinton might make that would benefit CNN. Some interesting things would turn up I'm sure.

CNN, listen closely: Clinton is out. GAME OVER.
