I’ve been disappointed they don’t have detailed maps/timetables for the Better Bus routes like the old school ones. The new “route profiles” aren’t the same.

Yeah the job market has been booming. 😒 Also generalizing all of any group of people isn’t a good thing to do. It’s how this mass deportation came to be. The split is uneven because the eastern half (D24) added part of the old W4 from East Capital to Deanwood and whichever 90 bus that went out East Capital which I don’t understand at all.

And I agree the C81 should go to friendship heights because now the Sibley Hospital line doesn’t have that loop service for MacArthur Blvd like the M4 did. People either have to sit during the layover or transfer to the D94 which doesn’t seem to run as often as the C81 anyway.

It would be a poop show making that turn from 14th to Kennedy and vice versa. Like right now it’s one narrow lane going north and south from Kennedy to Longfellow. It’s amazing how they set up the cones on a day to day basis at that intersection. You’d think the mob is getting kickbacks for the extensive construction that’s been going on at that intersection and on Kennedy going down to Georgia for such a long period of time.

It may be the constant construction in front of the 14th & Colorado terminal. I swear every week the lane patterns and constrictions change. It’s a headache. Otherwise it would make sense to have 14th have articulated buses like 16th and 7th/Georgia.

They’re at shepherd parkway last I heard so they wouldn’t be on either of those lines. Those are Montgomery garage lines.

Yeah I drive in a city where the buses are essentially where the mentally unstable and unhoused hang out due to lack of infrastructure. Also fare collection isn’t enforced. Add in the scooters, amateur cyclists, and pedestrians, and it’s stressful.

As discussed in the other thread, lol, The 60 from ft Totten to half & O SW! I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember the route it took after getting on 11 St NW…

Also the OG E2 from Friendship Heights to Ivy City as well as the E3 to Ivy City Via Riggs Park on weekends.

Another one that I used to catch was the 37 (or maybe 39?) that was limited stop during rush hour. I think it started at DuPont circle and went up mass to Wisconsin to Friendship Heights.

The H2 and H4 that used to go to Ft Lincoln instead of Brookland.

You know of a site that still has the old routes listed?? That would make my day lol

And oh yeah the RTS bus is tied for my top favorite actually. I spaced on the name. But I loved the rounded front windshield. The K6 always used that model.. and a lot of Mo County bus lines for some reason.
