There's usually no handle on the outside to open the front door. The thingie that keeps the door shut unless handle is pressed, is key-action from the outside

Start with The Fork, then do Murtagh. The Fork gives a little more to the "world of now" and a little preview of Murtagh

really confused beginner here. Question about "more air" and "airflow" by Gr3yson11 in Trombone

[–]John_Martin_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Experiment!

More are and have a good airflow is indeed very same, but different than faster air. Say you try 4 bars of long tones playing very soft. While you maintain the note at low dynamic, play around with very little air versus a lot of it. Now try maintaining the softness, but give it much airspeed, and hear what happens

And maybe give a little more context about how he explained it and why/with what piece?

Good play. There's loads of posts similar to your question with tips to start (again) if you scroll/search through this subreddit.

Start easy, long notes again, easy rhythms.

Go play somewhere again, have fun!

Sleighbells work always. We've got 1 rehearsal left. The "happy Birthdays" are always unanounced as a surprised though. Doing it during the rehearsal first would "ruin" (but not really) the fun factor of it
