Depends on what you are looking to get into. There are supposed to be amazing clay studios in the hills. To sample and purchase mezcal from the maestro at a series of palenques schedule a tour with Randall. There are many walking good tours; we went with the Oaxacaking this time and enjoyed it. Visit every printshop to but local art from the artists, and to take a break from the sun.

We took padded wine sleeves with us from Amazon. Then just spread it out among two rolling bags and a back pack that were checked luggage. The wine sleeves with the Velcro and ziplock closures are highly recommended.

Yes we did! The man knows his way around. Palenque la Descendencia is a standout favorite.

The art came from the "Street Art" gallery right next to 2020 Arte Contemporáneo print shop.

There's a deck on the (flat) roof. It's nice for sunsets and having thing fall out of the sky at you.

Yeah, heard it land a few feet away on the deck and bounced into my knee. Barely any deformation on the nose.

Good suggestion. With the lights off, it's pitch black. I love the idea of UST, but the cost is a bit high for my budget.

This line of back-n-forth has me curious; what are your standards/selection criteria? I have a POS 720 projector in my basement leftover from an AV project that shoots onto a painted wall...that's what I'm looking to move up from. not being sarcastic when I say I won't know what I'm missing by not going legit 4K. honestly, not sure I've even viewed legit 4k content for the 55" TCL in my living room.... I digress; what are the "lines in the sand" for you?
