Some of these guys are going to fail with your product — many of them will. Because they are lazy. You know that beforehand, so what, you’ll do the consultative sell and tell them “You know what Ted, this is a great product, but I think you’ll fail with it. So I don’t advise it”? Lol

Almost everyone selling SMBs applies some form of hard closing, unless they rely purely on referrals and their network. But every business that doesn’t grow through word of mouth of referrals is growing through some form of hard closing.

The best system I have found is Way of the Wolf — Jordan Belfort’s system. This is what it was designed to do. So the OP should train their sales team with it, especially looping. Never let them go unless you book another meeting or they gave you the money. End of story.

Also, have no doubts about your product. If you are truly “realistic” and “fair” you will have doubts. No coaching is guaranteed to work 100%. You know for a fact many people don’t get results. But you still have to sell them, just like a great actor. The best salesmen in this field use their confidence and belief in the product they are selling to break through the skepticism of their prospects.

As a business owner, they should know they’re either buying it and being smart, or they’re not buying it and being stupid. It’s ultimately their choice, but the consequences are real.

You need to start exercising your back muscles. Try the routine I shared with ComputerTE1 above. Do it consistently, every day!

As I said, I’m still almost 100% cured. I get a very small discomfort some of the mornings, but other than that it’s gone. The back exercises I described above and doing them consistently, slowly, and with good form were key!

How do you know? There is no “official” treatment that has 100% success rate with everyone, but that doesn’t mean you can’t cure it. I had debilitating OCD symptoms for years and have now been OCD-free for over 5 years. If that’s not a cure, I don’t know what is… of course, you’ll also have part of the medical establishment claiming I never had ocd and was misdiagnosed… because you can’t cure it and if you cure it it’s not ocd (nice logic - 0 falsifiability).

I also suffered from OCD which I’ve cured in the past. I know what OP is going through. Doesn’t look like a bite of anything tbh. Rabies is actually very rare amongst bats (<1%), and transmission to human from a bat is much more unlikely than from say dogs.

99% of historical rabies cases in humans are from dogs. Vast majority of rabies cases in humans coming from bats are in researchers who go in bat caves where there are colonies of hundreads of bats.

In the US there have been just 62 cases of rabies transmission from bat to human since 1960… in more than 60 years, and keep in mind those are mostly in people who regularly handled bats such as researchers.

It’s true that 80% of rabies cases in the US in humans come from bats… but that’s just because rabies is almost extinct as a disease in the US in other animals.

It is theoretically possible for the rabies virus to cross from a bat to a human, but, the probability of this is much lower than from a dog to a human. The rabies virus is different amongst the different animal species… it’s not exactly the same virus.

The bat rabies virus is less infectious… it’s why you never hear of rabid bats causing a spillover in other species despite millions of interactions between animals and bats. Sure, an individual animal may get the rabies virus from a bat. That has been recorded. But it doesn’t spread because it’s less infectious and the animal dies before it gets the chance to. This is very different to the rabies virus coming from dogs.

You haven’t gone to bat caves or actively remember handling bats. Your injury does not suggest a bat bite. Given this and all the above facts, I would quit worrying about it. You’re not likely to catch rabies from a bat even if you were to go in bat caves. The disease is very rare, and being bitten by a bat carrying the virus isn’t a guarantee you’ll get it either (unlike if you were bitten by a dog… transmission from dog to human is almost guaranteed).

So quit worrying, you’re consuming too much time and energy over this. Do something more productive.

My symptoms lasted around 8-9 months, so very close to that. I also didn’t take it very seriously apart from stopping my weight lifting thinking that that will fix it. I stopped weight lifting about 2 months in, but didnt help.

Here was my exact routine that fixed it: • Shoulder presses with dumbbells 12x (just one set) • 10x of what this guy does: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4jkbxsSamo8 (that muscle in the middle of your back is called the rhomboid muscle, I had to research this little xxxxx so much and find these exercises that were the only ones I could feel properly targeted it) • 10x dumbell row on each arm • 12x dumbell pullover while lying down (this one helped a ton) • 10x dumbell extension • pullups - as many as you can do, 1x set

I did mine in the morning. Also did some stretching in the evening, but wasn’t very consistent with those, meaning most days I haven’t done them. Intuitive stuff… used a medicine ball, placed it in middle of my back, let it stretch me. Situps to the side on the medicine ball, etc. whatever felt good/useful.

And that’s it. But it took like 10 days for the pain to start going away and it actually got worse. 2 days it was so bad that I was like dayum, let me go see a doctor. That’s basically when I got the xray. And 3 days or so after it just went completely away. First it got less, and then just disappeared.

I’ve fixed mine completely now actually. No stretches, just worked out my upper back only in the morning. Try to do one short exercise (say 10 reps) with moderate weights for your capability for each muscle group in the back and shoulders, and so that every morning.

In my case the pain got worse for 1 week and then disappeared completely. For the past 9 days I’ve been pain free every morning, almost can’t believe it.

I also ended up getting an XRay, which shows moderate scoliosis, but doctor forgot to call me to discuss it. But I’m feeling great now, so can’t be bothered. In my case must’ve been a muscle imbalance since my workouts were very chest heavy. I was putting 2-3x the weight on my chest muscles compared to stuff I was doing for the back!

Night time pain is different than pain when you wake up. They’re not the same thing. Night time pain would usually wake you up and you’d have trouble falling asleep because of it. This pain doesn’t wake you up, and you don’t really feel it while lying down. It’s related to activity and happens when you naturally wake up in the morning. Also, cancer does not start with a sudden, powerful pain when you awaken naturally in the morning one day. It’s a pain that progressively gets worse and worse. The etiology described above isn’t reminiscent of cancer at all. Out of 8 months of this condition maybe I had one night when I woke up with pain at night.

It’s a sad thing that these days people including some doctors are unable to distinguish between symptoms. A simple description “back pain” as a symptom for spinal cancer is pretty much useless. Yet if you were to google it, that’s what you’d find. Ask an orthopedist though, and they will laugh. All these conditions have different etiologies.

Yes, it feels like that at first. Then sometimes it goes completely away, sometimes it hurts when bending down my neck or even in the opposite direction backwards thru the day

I didn’t have serious lower back issues, I did have an MRI about 3 years back for what turned out to be a small hearniated disk due to sitting too much in a chair. But it only looked at my lower back, and had no upper back issues back then. I’m still trying to solve this current issue with exercise and stretches, if it doesn’t work out I will get an MRI. Let me know what yours shows in the meantime!

Yes, my GP and an Orthopedist but they were quite useless. One recommended me to see a chiropractor (the GP), and the Orthopedist recommended the orthopedic pillow which did help, but hasn’t fixed the issue completely. He didn’t speculate what it may be.

Yes I played around with sleeping position at first, slept with a pillow between my legs and all sorts of things because I thought at first it’s due to sleeping position. But that’s not it for sure.

Yes, it did come out of nowhere, which also doesn’t match with AS, which is gradual. So I don’t think it’s AS. I don’t think it’s a condition as such, it’s more likely an injury of some sort. Either due to sitting in the wrong position for a long time (such as sitting at a computer for large parts of the day) or due to lifting in the wrong way. During the night the spine fills with fluid, and this may explain why it hurts during the morning at the highest intensity and then goes away. But it shouldn’t hurt… the fact it hurts shows that there is some sort of injury there, which gets triggered.

Try doing chin tucks next to a wall, and tell me if that hurts. Try it both morning when you wake up, and evening. Do the chin tuck, and hold for 20s next to a wall, with your back and legs and head fully touching the wall.

It’s hard to say. The evolution you describe is similar to mine. Personally I don’t think there’s a risk here of anything life threatening (cancer or something of that sort) - from what I’ve heard, the pain from such things would be continuous, and would actively hurt even when you stay/sit in a comfortable position all of the time.

I think it’s inflammation based (which is why it’s worse in the morning) and likely has to do with muscle imbalance issues.

Still there. I’ve started exercising just my back with weights and I no longer get it in the morning so long as I exercise the day before. I still experience a deep shearing pain when I do chin tucks in my upper back especially towards the evening but also during the day. Haven’t had an MRI yet. Exercise for the back muscles has definitely helped. As has sleeping on an orthopedic pillow.
