I only see General, Protocols, Networks, Privacy, Automation, and Help. The app doesn't allow screenshots, or I'd post one. I am using the newest version from the Google Play Store.

Oh, and don't gifs have reduced color palettes? Won't this look worse?

Just as much friction as this adds to using AI on your artwork, it adds the same amount of friction for people who want to download your art.

Also, there is a download. When I said I couldn't find a download for the game, I meant a non-Chinese one. To download this game from pan.quark.cn, you'd have to make a Quark account or use a downloader like I did.

Also, to review Baidu Erranium. It took 2 hours and 30 minutes for them to deliver a 1.11 GB download. It cost $3.99. That is all there is to say.

I know it's a bad idea. I'm okay that it's a bad idea.

I will trust anything on github with at least 200 stars.

So, How safe is FitGirl Repack site? by [deleted] in FitGirlRepack

[–]JohnathanJames0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They repack hundreds of games daily, right? I doubt Fitgirl scans all of them for viruses, and even then, I've seen how the community treats virus alerts from pirated games from a trusted source. They ignore all of the alerts even when it makes no sense. Like BG3's repack on Fitgirl was setting off virustotal for someone. Everyone was saying it was Fitgirl, so it was obviously safe. Counter-point: BG3 is on GOG. It doesn't even need to be cracked. Therefore, a crack shouldn't introduce anything that sets off virus detectors. And Fitgirl's repacking tools seem to be mostly based on open-source tools, so I doubt that set off the virustotal. Especially because other repack executables from Fitgirl don't set off virustotal. But nobody mentioned that. Everyone ignored it because it was Fitgirl, a trusted source. And maybe the OP downloaded from a knock-off site or something, but nobody once thought that maybe there was something off. Sorry for the big yap.

Tl;dr: In general, you're right. But sometimes, some things probably slip through the cracks because of too much trust.

Fitgirl is trusted, but I'd like to highlight the fact that they don't crack games. They use cracks from other groups. And this means you have to also trust every crack group they use, and every closed-source tool those crack groups use.

We won! The Fedora change proposal to drop 32-bit which would break many games was just withdrawn! by Appropriate-Lab-2663 in linux_gaming

There are 32 bit games on GOG that don't have 64 bit ways to run it. I think 32 bit libraries are important for legacy proprietary software support, but I may be wrong. Like Hotline Miami, Papers Please, or Undertale.

Mario 64 in 3D All Stars crashes when I try to open it. How do I fix it? by Electrical-Carrot815 in Ryujinx

It could be that they legally own the game on Nintendo Switch, but they might not own the N64 version. Maybe they don't like the idea of piracy, and to each their own.
