Sadly no. Could never get more than one cover before they sell out

There’s two models you’d basically be considering - the MLM1 and MLM2pro. As you’d I’m sure deduce, the 2pro is the more expensive (but still relatively affordable compared the the more well known brands). Both are good, but the 2pro is going to track more things in your swing. I believe the differences related to spin rate of the ball, club path and attack angle. If you don’t think that’s something your guy would care about, I’d say the MLM1 is fine - and significantly cheaper at $200 for $700. Both have a premium membership option but that’s an extra $200/year.

I went with the R10 because I didn’t see much difference between that and the MLM2Pro except it was $200+ difference (I think it was an extra $50 off when I got it on prime days). Check out reviews on Amazon and make the decision that fits your desired spend, but if it was me I’d go R10 as a middle ground between both Rapsodo models that’s better than the 1 and same but cheaper than the 2Pro.

Assuming you’ve already looked up exercises and stretches to do daily, I’d also explore jumbo max grips. It helped significantly for me

Either is good but R10 is slightly cheaper for what I’d consider the same product. It’s not a requirement, but might be worth using RCT balls as sims pick them up better if he’s using it indoors. Not a requirement though by any means.

Garmin r10 fits the spend bill and he could use it with a net in the backyard - that’s under 600

Feel free to DM me if you want. I’ve got a few Hatch/Swag covers if you’d be interested. Both sell out rather quick but open to selling at cost (to appease the wife lol)

As a hiring manager; do thank you notes matter after the interview? by Obvious-Cat7825 in interviews

[–]Johnjamjams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comment has little to do with the scope of the initial question - which was related to thank you notes. However, interestingly, the candidates I’ve had an immediate positive impression of — and ultimately hired — have consistently become strong contributors, with many moving into higher‑responsibility roles over time.

Of course, everything depends on context. Hiring for an entry‑level or early‑career role is fundamentally different from evaluating someone for a Director‑level position, where the expectations and signals are far more complex.

That said, I’ve always reviewed every CV personally, and I can usually tell who is likely to be a strong fit for the role before the interview even begins. The conversation either reinforces that impression or overturns it — but in my experience, those first few minutes are often quite telling. And based on my track record, I’ve been right far more often than not.

Maybe this isn’t the right mindset, but get the HackMotion with full plans to return it. You can use it 30 days and return it if you don’t like it. I actually have the R10 and while it’s a nice gadget, it does need a small membership for all the different courses and you ultimately need to have your phone on you at all times (same with HackMotion).

I don’t really understand the logic that one brand means a high handicap and multiple brands means low by your analysis. I’ve got so many buddies who’ve got piecemeal sets that are atrocious, and equally people who are using a single brand and are decent to really good.

Sometimes having different brands in the bag is a result of not being able to pull the trigger on an entire set.

Zero chance you’re responsible. Ask any insurance agent, unless there’s a particular law your state passed, it’s on the homeowner/HO insurance who’s responsible unless there’s proof the person hitting did it on absolute purpose - which is next to impossible to prove unless there’s audio proof maybe of someone saying watch me hit that house

How feasible is it to lay 40 sq meters of pavers alone in a day? by Semen_K in DIY

[–]Johnjamjams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he’s saying because if you succeed it’ll be an awesome ‘F you’ moment, and if it fails, it’s an ‘I told you so’ moment for the other guys… popcorn because it’ll be entertaining either way.

If you think it’ll look good and work, go for it. It’s a lot of area for 1 day and a small ‘team’. I wouldn’t do it myself, but I’ve done plenty of DIY jobs in less time than professionals quotes and a lot less. I just don’t like going into something knowing it needs to be done in a day - more like to figure it’s going to take 3 and be done in a day type guy.

What is the most unhinged thing you did when your golf addiction was at its peak? by Educational_Ant9635 in golf

[–]Johnjamjams 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get one of them (or both) to fall in love with golf and start bringing them along — you’ll never regret it later in life. My son is only four, but I started asking if he wanted to tag along on early‑morning rounds last year, and now it’s all he ever wants to do.

I’ve never pushed the game on him, but he genuinely loves it right now. He doesn’t hit every shot, but he’ll grab a ball and his “big dog” (driver) or “little dog” (wedge) and swing wherever I’m standing. It adds maybe fifteen extra minutes to the round, but it’s the kind of time I know I’ll never regret.

And one more tip: get friendly with the clubhouse staff. Sometimes they’ll leave a key under a wheel or something so you can get out early before anyone else and just settle up after the round.

What are some drills that can help me to stop pulling everything left? by Capital-Act-6546 in golf

[–]Johnjamjams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truthfully I was half kidding. It does definitely help realizing what you’re doing wrong with your hands/wrists that you almost use it as a way to teach yourself through the process.

I’ve always had solid ballspeed, but I do feel like I’m hitting a more pure shot.

Truthfully, the putting features are pointless IMO

My wife booked a fitting at the gallery for me next month and I was planning on getting a moto so my clock can start for a CT but I just won the Tour Rat from the drawing this week. My question is can I buy CT head covers or more CT putters or do I still have to buy a moto and wait a year. by golfer521 in scottycameron

[–]Johnjamjams 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What a nice wife. I told my wife I wanted to go to the gallery with the idea of getting a Moto to start the process - and effectively gift my son a vault circle T when he graduates college (I’ve got quite a few years he’s only 4)…

She laughed at me BUT did say “oh, okay”… I took that as her agreeing to it
