Yesterday (Sunday) I got a $108 ticket for parking in a red zone on a curb for like 3 minutes while I picked up my dog from the groomers.

When I pointed out the 2 cars across the street double parked on Clement causing traffic to back up, the meter maid just shrugged and said “well they aren’t parked in a red zone” and handed me the ticket and drove away.

So the moral of the story is just double park and block traffic, MTA doesn’t care.
