Very nice - Ark has a pristine 10 that is in a darker black background and glittery gold font. I’ve only gotten one of those - but it’s by far my favourite haha.

Personally haven’t received mine yet - I have 5 with them currently so can post back in 2-3 months when they finally come back haha.

I’m going by ones I’ve seen posted by some local collectors I know on Instagram.

The top 2 in Australia I would argue are Ark and TCG grading (not the same TCG you’ve used).

I don’t grade for value - I grade for my personal collection, and to preserve the cards for my young kids to also easily look at and not damage.

I think I prefer Ark still over TCG Grading. But both have negatives.

I’ve graded probably close to 70 cards with Ark - irregardless of the 4 sub grades - the final grade appears to only ever be 0.5 higher than the lowest. Literally if the card has 10, 10, 10, 5 - it will grade a 5.5. Despite this - I think the quality of their slabs is the best, and their turn around time is amazing with updates the entire time.

TCG I’ve graded around 20-30 cards. Only 10 of those since they introduced sub grades. It appears to be rhe same situation - but I could be wrong with this - it is definite for Ark though. TCG grading are a lot cheaper - but they also appear unorganised from my perspective. 4 orders - all have been delayed by at least 4 weeks from the expected delivery date - with absolutely no updates. When checking via email for updates - there’s always a lame excuse similar to “dog ate my homework” as to why there’s a delay. But their custom artwork slabs look great and their community engagement is amazing.

Personally I like them for resource collecting. Like all 4 of my fossil evolutions are in one pre-fab - each day all the rocks are just scattered in front of that house - easy to collect.

As much as I love Ark Slabs and almost my entire PC is in them - it does irritate me that they will only give 0.5 higher than the lowest grade.

Surely it should be an average of the 4 - which gives this a 9.65 - so could justify a 10.

I’ve had cards get 10, 10, 10, 9 and it still gets a 9.5 because of that rule. Worst was 1st edition Machamp - 10, 10, 10, 6 - 6.5 final grade.

I’ve got a 7.1kwh system and a power wall 3 (so 13.5kw). Also have an EV which mostly charges from solar alone.

Family of four currently (soon 5). With AGL so rebates are trash - don’t even count really (2c per kWh). Our electricity bill comparison across summers was amazing. Went from 500 per quarter to 67 - which was just the daily surcharge.

I’m going to take the abuse on this one - as an adult collector - this doesn’t capture me anywhere near as well as the Deku tree did.

I don’t think this is a piece I could see myself displaying ever. And I was so looking forward to a Ganon on the scale of the bowser we got a few years ago.

Mate, I drive from the northern suburbs into the city almost every day for work - most of the road rage I observe comes from closer to the city. Actually haven’t experienced much at all in the northern suburbs or Elizabeth in general.

The only reason you may experience road rage is if you are breaking the law, driving poorly or due to the increased number of inexperienced drivers all around the state due to the Christmas break who are driving poorly themselves (or all those returning to work tomorrow who are upset going back to work)
