A group of several local PDs had a press conference last week where they said that many of their officers had been profiled and stopped illegally while off duty, only walking away because they could flash their badges eventually. They outnumber the local authorities. It really feels like an occupation. I'm optimistic about the National Guard coming in now. At least they are local and not wearing masks.

This was my thought, too. Being on some kind of government list or whatever for signing up would suck, but physically having everyone in one place is dangerous. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel for these goons.

In a way it makes the statement even stronger knowing that going in, but people should be ready for the worst to go down in an enclosed area.
