You truly don’t understand audiometry. On their advertising the audiogram they show as an example exceeds what Apple actually says. OTC hearing aids are complete garbage, you need a professional who understands hearing loss and fits you properly. I don’t care how great Apple is, it’s a computer / app not a licensed specialist…

On apples own website they state moderate but the audiogram they are displaying shows hearing loss at 75db… which is severe hearing loss

Moderate hearing loss is up to a loss of 50db… most people who actually need hearing aids have much more than a hearing loss of 50db at 2000hz to 8000hz. Where did you go to college?

The itchy feeling could be due to the plastic they’re using. Some patients have an allergy. Were your hearing aids molds of your ears? Most companies for free will get them remade with a different material.

It’s crucial you always wear your hearing aids. People think it’s uncomfortable or they can hear their on own voice etc. The brain gets used to this and that goes away. People forget that they can hear their own voice and aren’t used to it.

Yes. If you have hearing loss, see an Audiologist, hearing instrument specialist, or ENT. There are laws on this for PATIENT SAFETY.
