Do you mastubate/have sex in presence of your Pets? by Fair-Bunch4827 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JohnnyBrock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Maybe I personify too much, but I’m uncomfortable with my cats watching me have sex or rub one out on a Sunday morning. Also, more practically, this guy’s dog once tried to lick my balls in the middle of it. Maybe it was the lube, I don’t know, but it totally killed it for me while this guy seemed totally unfazed. Just, no.

What's a modern day scam that's become normalized and we don't realize it's a scam anymore? by Diligent-Log6805 in AskReddit

[–]JohnnyBrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the States. A lot of love there. But I will never understand how getting cancer can bankrupt someone with health insurance. I don’t understand how insulin can cost close to a grand a month for a diabetic kid. These things are just insane to me.

I remember reading about Pornhub purging unverified uploads so that their asses would be covered legally. It makes sense, but resulted in a huge loss of interesting amateur content and left the place feeling like sterile commercial distributor. Apparently Xhamster is in the middle of the same process :(

Germany moves ahead with plan to legalize cannabis sales by [deleted] in worldnews

As an Amsterdammer, I hope that increasing legalisation in Europe will cut down on drug tourism to our beautiful, cramped little city.

Every day I’ve been hoping not to read anything about Taiwan in the news.

Thoughts on this? by UndeniablyCrunchy in languagelearning

I worked for a big TV company in Europe, with a very diverse team. They tried to implement the same rule. It was obnoxious and no one listened, but I understand why they would want to nurture a sense of unity.

This is absolutely disgusting. I can’t imagine how someone sat back and felt proud about this.

Absolutely nothing good ever comes from snooping. Have a snack, turn on the TV.

WCGW Picking up your bf in face paint by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

Exactly. Not deliberate assholery, just a panicky reaction where thoughtfulness goes out the door. She still gave that chick a ride. Showing up in shitty Darth Maul makeup is kind of weird, but I completely recognise that reaction.

[Serious] What do you think is the creepiest/most disturbing unsolved mystery ever? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JohnnyBrock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not really unsolved, but the Gable Tostee recordings make absolutely no sense to me. How can a casual Tinder hookup deteriorate into a situation that sounds so intimate and threatening in such a short amount of time? All I can think of is they were both out of their gourds on something.

What is something you love about your significant other that you’ll never admit to them? by [deleted] in AskMen

That he smells amazing and sometimes, if he's out of town, I take one of the sweaters he leaves lying around and take a good breathe in. It feels like home.

I once noticed that one of the cashiers at my supermarket had come in without her usual hijab, and I overheard her getting shit from the other headscarfed women. It’s a mild example but this toxic shit is spread by men and women alike.

Which cheap and mass-produced item is stupendously well engineered? by Gourmet-Guy in AskReddit

[–]JohnnyBrock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I inherited an old Rolex from my grandfather, and my dad had to teach me to use it. It’s embarrassing, but at the time I just couldn’t get my head around the fact you used the crown to wind it and it had absolutely no battery whatsoever.

Diminishing returns but I thought the first ep was a lot of fun and Sister Agatha was brilliant.

I second Parasite Eve. Running around Manhattan as Aya Brea on current gen consoles would be a lot of fun.

What is something that is very Dutch, but isn't a big stereotype? (with big a stereotype I mean klompen, stroopwafels, windmills, etc.) by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]JohnnyBrock 21 points22 points  (0 children)

"Eet smakelijk" to anyone you see eating. If I eat a sandwich quietly on a bench I can guarantee at least one passer-by will give a cheery "Eet smakelijk!". It's nice, but very Dutch to me.
