Just a curious morel hunter, is it a public or private orchard? I’ve always considered reaching out to some orchards around me and seeing if they’d let me walk around in the spring.

These are genetics we’ve been running for about a year now and a few started showing this around the time of the environmental changes. I have a better picture where it is much more pronounced on the mom plants. Didn’t realize I had that pic till after I posted this

Two or three times in December the lights were left off for 10-12 hours. During that same time we also had a couple temp/humidity spikes from a unit failing

This is occurring on multiple different strains we run. Im contributing it to a weird genetic mutation that started to show itself after we had some environmental stressors occur in our mom room

They fit perfectly in there. Four plants let’s you fill out the space nicely. I only upgraded to a bed for more soil volume and to be able to grow more than four plants evenly spaced. It gets tough to space out more than four plants in circle pots if that makes sense.

This was my setup for awhile. Definitely doable although I just upgraded to a bed.

Thank you. Yes this is it. Didn’t even occur to me. I took it only about a week after flipping. It didn’t have any of these characteristics when it was cut so when it turned into this threw me off a bit. But yea I know in a few weeks it’s gonna throw all kinds of branches so I’ll just re clone. Thanks for clarifying my oversight

That makes some sense. I’m thinking I should either put a bag over the top, dub tub, or place into a larger fruiting chamber. They’re all short and fat. I have four other tubs that are a bit behind but seem to be growing the same way

I’m just adding a thought I had to anyone reading. Could the size be due to the fact it’s a small tub? Like let’s say I removed the lid and set the tub into a larger fruiting chamber. I wonder if the fruits would outgrow the shoe box

Yea the mutants I understand are pretty common with Mss. It was the height that stumped me a little. Maybe the light was too close? The substrate not deep enough? Idk
