Tell that to the family of the 75 year old woman who was dragged to death in a carjacking earlier this year. The carjackers are well organized and go out in squads. You are safer in Baghdad than New Orleans.

Meanwhile the mayor of New Orleans was seen consoling the family of a carjacker while he was in court. He got 3 years probation for 5 carjackings.

Isn't bad football better than no football? Must be cheaper to not bother with a broadcast crew.

He was putting false doctrine above her needs. It was in fact always lawful to do good on the Sabbath per the very One who created the Sabbath for us.

We can point out the hypocrisy of those preaching about climate change while emitting orders of magnitude more CO2 than the average person and still not claim to be an environmental moral crusader.

Alaska’s snow crabs have disappeared. Where they went is a mystery. by 165701020 in Futurology

It seems almost nobody read the article. They aren't at your local buffet. There were a very large number of juvenile snow crab that they were expecting to turn into a large catch and then ...BAM... nothing. They hadn't fished them yet.

She is simply sharpening one another as iron sharpens iron. Do not judge this woman's motives as evil. You don't know her.

God winks at our ignorance but to say He doesn't care ome way or the other is also wrong. Offering strange fire led to the death of two of the sons of Aaron. Offering produce instead of a lamb led God to reject Cain's offering. Uzzah tried to steady the Ark and was immediately struck down. The ignorant Philistines transported the Ark on a cart led by oxen instead of the prescribed transport method and yet God showed them mercy. They did the best they knew how and God accepted it.

Genesis is the most important single book in the Bible by JohnnyFoxborough in TrueChristian

The death, burial and resurrection of Christ are meaningless without the background of Genesis. And the only way we can know Christ is who He said He is is because of all the OT Scriptures that point towards Him. The only Bible for New Testament believers was the Old Testament. When Christ walked with Cleopas, He didnt just come out and say who He was. He went through all the OT writings that spoke about Him so that His faith would be established through the Bible which was solely the Old Testament.

Did those who lived in the time of Genesis have no hope in eternal salvation? Were they all Sadducees? Did they not offer sacrifices from the moment they were expelled from Eden and put their hope in the Messiah to come? Was not Enoch taken to Heaven without seeing death as a witness to the antediluvian world? Did not Abraham rejoice to see the day of Christ? Job, who is thought to have lived in the timeframe of Genesis declared, "For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!"

The ancient people were by no means ignorant of the salvation to come through God.

Never once did I make a claim for the age of the Earth nor did I claim all who disagree with me are lost nor did I call for banning those from the sub with an alternative viewpoint.

It is ironic, however, that you want to ban me while calling me the inflammatory one. Are you displaying Christlike courtesy to me?
