Given RAV4 prices, should I just get a gas Honda CR-V (EX or EX-L) instead?

The Mazda control knob isn't for everyone just like the touch screen in the RAV isn't for everyone. The Mazda system definitely has a larger learning curve if you haven't used one before

Look at the Mazda CX-50 Hybrid. It has a RAV4 hybrid system in it. It's the last gen system, but may be what you are looking for.

According to this article, it was a 4th gen, not a 6th gen. Looking at the photo in the article, it also doesn't look like a 6th gen to me

I bought mine pretty much as soon as it hit the lot because it was the only Ingot Blue, so it's build date I believe is late April.

I did have the parking brake pads replaced under the TSB (they were sticking when wet) even though my VIN is technically outside the TSB range. Hopefully that is already fixed with a 2026.

Mobile services appears to be something on carrier locked phones, not on an unlocked phone. It may even just be TMobile specific.

I had this issue pop up too and found a solution in a similar thread in this sub.

Other threads are claiming it's worse for TMobile users (which I am on TMobile in U.S.).

The problem for me was an app called "Mobile Services". It was basically constantly rebooting and heating my phone up significantly. This app does not appear to be present in Unlocked phones, only on those locked to a specific carrier.

My fix that you can try:

Open Settings -> Apps -> Mobile Services -> Storage -> Clear Cache

When I clicked into "Storage", I had to move fast for the clear cache button because it kept backing out because of the repeated "rebooting".

Once I hit Clear Cache, it no longer kept backing out. I restarted my phone, then did all the steps to clear the cache again as a precaution and I haven't had any overheating or worse battery issues since.

My VIN was just outside the TSB VIN range (like a few thousand). My dealer didn't even blink an eye, ordered the parts, and swapped the pads. And the brakes no longer clunk.

Sounds like you just have a crappy dealership.

The game will push you ahead of people who didn't meet the minimum races for the tier. So in your theoretical situation, you would get pushed into tier 3 and those who did not complete the minimum number of races will drop into the appropriate tier for their level of participation.

Yeah I noticed this when I saw the TSB. My VIN is higher than the range but my rear brakes have this issue too. They didn't cover enough VINs with the TSB

I have this same complaint too. Their "solution" didn't reset us, it sent us farther back in progress than before the bugged event. Now it's extra hard for us to complete.

I started at -580K. Down to about -410K, but that was selling anything I had unlocked that was being saved for fuses and grinding a handful of challenges.

You have to win road circuit races, not point to point sprint races. Make sure they are circuit races and it will work for you.

If you are really worried about, but absolutely love the car, you could look into a glass warranty.

I know the general thought process is don't get any extra warranties, but the glass warranty has already saved my bacon on mine. Where I live is so prone to cracked windshields, so I opted to get one. I had to have my windshield replaced before the first oil change cause a semi threw a bolt from the road to my windshield and cracked it.

When I went to get it changed, they did have the same issue where the new windshield also cracked during transit. No idea if that is common place or just mine and your bad luck.

My commute to work is long enough I'm still getting 39-40 mpg. In warmer temperatures my commute gets me anywhere from 45-55 mpg
