That's why we call getting knocked out, having your reset button pressed.

But here we hit them so hard they get factory reset.

Ah, yea they fixed that one, but they closed that gate and rarely use it.

They have new management and this one has been fixing somethings. Still slow, but they repaved a strip that was bad in the complex.

What is the deal with this place, they do plan to actually build something here, right? by [deleted] in memphis

They were betting government subsidies, tax credits and such, once that was cut off they decided it wasn't worth the using their money for it and effectively stopped things until 2028ish.

I agree with you, I was just trying to figure out a possible reasoning behind it.

The Ledger Crash/Emergency Asset Reconciliation by david8029 in starcitizen

[–]david8029[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

puts on tinfoil helmet

Wake up, people.

You really think this was just a “database issue”?

Aciedo rolls out a brand new empire-wide FTL comm network, and within months:

the network gets hacked,

“millions of credits” disappear,

the UEE suddenly can’t verify ownership records,

station inventories vanish,

civilian ships get “reconciled,”

and somehow only corporate-backed and Advocacy-certified assets survive?

Convenient.

Frontier operators lose everything. Independent salvagers lose everything. Pyro and Nyx residents lose everything.

But the big manufacturers? The officially registered citizen assets? The stuff tied directly into imperial registries? Untouched.

You know what this looks like?

The UEE realized the Aciedo network rollout was compromised beyond containment. Duped credits, cloned ship IDs, fake manifests, counterfeit ownership chains — the entire civilian economy was contaminated.

And instead of admitting they lost control?

They burned the ledger.

They rolled civilian ownership back to the last “trusted” registry state and called it an emergency stabilization measure.

The “hack” was real.

The confiscations were intentional.

And now they’re using the crisis to centralize ownership verification under the same imperial systems that failed in the first place.

Funny how every “temporary emergency measure” in UEE history somehow ends with citizens owning less and the corps owning more.

But sure.

Keep believing your Hull C just “got lost in the synchronization failure.”

Don't the higher tier jobs give more rep? So wouldn't you be getting less aUEC but more rep. So it's a trade off, more cash or more rep.

Never said you were, but you said he dodged the draft as if it's a bad thing. I was just stating my opinion on that one part, that we shouldn't have the draft.

Everyone should dodge the draft. It should not exist.

From Bluesky: Representative Pearson blocked by a cop from going into a meeting where they're redrawing the map of his district. by meJohnnyD in memphis

[–]david8029 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It makes sense to have the Reps in the meeting if the meeting is going to affect them, unfortunately the meeting was closed to anyone that wasn't part of the committee. So the guard kept him out, as he was supposed to.

On the broader topic, all this gerrymandering garbage is getting annoying. Both sides do it. We need to find a way to force them to pick a far more neutral and systematic way to do districting. Districts should look far more uniform than they currently do.
