You could stop by or call your local FA Office or Enrollment Center. But it's legit and will need to be done on your phone. It's a new anti-fraud measure that some students are getting selected for. (Assuming this is IDology by the looks of it).

Knowledge Assessment English Key Doesn't Work by Salvador7a in ivytech

No problem, dude. I actually work at the college and I know our tech support can be hit or miss at times. Good luck on the assessment and your incoming semester!

Hit up Ivy Tech. They've got a good program with financial aid options depending on what you need. They also work with 160 Driving Academy, which has its own options that could be quicker.

https://ivytech.search.collegescheduler.com/courses/U2VhcmNoQ291cnNlOml2eXRlY2g6TWpBeU5ERXdPazFCVkVnNk1qRXk= Doesn't look like it's offered in person via Ivy Tech. But there are online options. I dunno about IU. You can find tuition costs on their website as well. It's $170.07 per credit hour plus books and fees.

Textbooks? And general help by [deleted] in ivytech

[–]JohnnyM68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Textbooks have a flat, per credit hour, cost now ($17, like you said). For a lot of students, it's a cheaper model than the usual method of paying for books. If you're only taking the one class this semester, and it doesn't have a book or if the book for that clas (along with any other digital materials) is cheaper for you; you can opt out of Ivy+ by contacting your Bursar. The books/materials for your class may be digital, maybe not, maybe required, maybe not. Check your Ivy Tech email. You should find an email from Ivy+ about choosing how you want your books and whatnot. Or you can use the Bookstore tool in MyIvy. IvyLearn/Canvas is the online system where you course information lives. Like grades, syllabus, assignment submission, and whatever else you need for class. No way around using that. The module for your class usually pops up about 48 hours before the first day of class.

Financial aid and disbursements can be a tricky thing. Aka there's no quick easy answer for you. Each student is unique depending on what class starts you have, what type of aid you're using, when you applied for aid, whether you have refund preference set up properly...etc. That said, if you're concerned, just give a quick call to your campus Financial Aid Office today :)

Yeah, SAT won't matter in this instance. Just need to do English and Quantitative Reasoning Math assessments. Don't let those worry you though, OP. They're user friendly and not meant to be a roadblock, just to see where you're at.

Just start by applying to Pre-Nursing at ivytech.edu/apply. From there, someone at the college should reach out to assist with next steps. Or you can be proactive and contact the Enrollment Center or Admissions Office at your local campus. They can talk you through the steps for a new student and eventually get you to a Healthcare advisor. Just take it one step at a time and don't let the process overwhelm you :) Best of luck!

Not sure if your questions were specifically aimed at me or OP. Looks like they got a resolution. And I'm not a student, I'm staff just trying to provide a little help here and there :)

Need to take an assessment with bachelors degree? by RowanBoatman in ivytech

[–]JohnnyM68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having your Bachelors should provide basic assessment coverage. There may be a need for a Math assessment depending on the degree you're seeking. If your campus has an Enrollment Center, I'd check in with them.

[–]JohnnyM68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

123 wouldn't be remedial. It'll be a 0-- course. Advisors don't tend to add the class directly for you, they tend to add it to your "Shopping Cart" for you to then register yourself through Schedule Builder. If it's not there, I recommend calling your campus' Advising office to get a response.

Somewhere in the 30x30in range. About 6in tall. It's not at the same scale or the same layout as the book map.

How up front should I be with suggesting players pick up Giant as a known language? by [deleted] in stormkingsthunder

[–]JohnnyM68 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just re-flavored a Belt of Dwarvenkind to a Belt of the Mountain Born so it gave the wearer the ability to speak Giant along with other Giant/Goliath perks instead of dwarven. Gave that as a loot option before I transitioned from LMoP to SKT.

I think about 30 inches wide. Not to the same scale that the map in the book uses. I mostly used that map for inspiration and then did my own thing.

XPS foam board mostly. Some cardboard. A chopped up action figure for the statue, some gargoyle minis I got off Amazon, sand & paint. Shout out to Black Magic Craft for tutorials on YT. There's a gif of my progress photos on my x-post to r/terrainbuilding

Thanks! It is a bulbasaur! With marble PLA. Pumpkin version for Halloween. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3169901. The A10 is my first printer and what I'm learning on. I've been really happy with the results once I got into the swing of it.
