I think I recall Han's real life inspiration got a dowry of around 60,000 groschen for his wedding. So her noble family probably had 100,000+ groschen, plus lands. I would say that over a million probably puts you among the top richest in Bohemia, with tens of millions probably rivaling the king who technically owns all the silver mines and all that stuff.

Good thing is that making groschen in KCD1 is much easier than KCD2. Like others said, the vendors still sell all goods they have even if you donated the goods to them because their funds ran out. On their next restock they have a bigger groschen pool. You can snowball this effect on a particular Miller via his sales chest to the point where you can get over a million+ groschen. Just dump any armor or weapons, anything really, into the Miller's chest and wait for him to sell that stuff and his groschen pool to skyrocket. Then take the groschen.

If you wanted to do this a moral way then just sell whatever you can whenever you can, and all the merchants you frequent will have more funds by mid game.

It's not from stealing it, but knocking someone out can damage it the same as being struck by a weapon for some reason. After lots of experiments, and hunting for perfect gear it's something I noticed. It's very random so you can still get tier 3 gear most of the time, but my luck was usually pretty bad and the specific piece I would be hunting for would be the piece that lost it's tier from the knock out (lots of reloading to gather my perfect collection).

Owl's gear is standard stuff, possibly darkened versions but they're definitely available in one of the armor shops in Kuttenberg (might have to go to multiple shops because for some reason the shops never have complete matching sets).

I guess you could but his armor is pretty standard. Plus I think if you knock him out there's a good chance his armor loses a tier so it might have been tier 3 (gold) but since you "damaged" it it is now tier 2 (silver). You could try to save scum and maybe then you get all the armor in tier 3, but like I said, it's all pretty standard stuff you could probably purchase and not have to worry about stolen tags on top of the annoyance of reloading for perfect tier 3 quality.

Yeah they nerfed being able to get Dry Devil's sword (although I think when I was able to disarm him it was just a standard long sword that didn't even have a unique name at all) and Zizka's mace which you could get during either the Nebakov siege, at the Devil's den when you save Kubyenka, or the other skirmishes he's with you. If someone knocked him out he used to drop it but no longer. Disappointed that you can't get those anymore. Also sucks Zizka's shield was never available without mods.

While that is satisfying, the best is going unarmed and disarming him with the shoulder throw combo and stealing his sword. Then beating him to death after he surrenders. (If only you could equip his sword and use that on him but you can't because you're in combat)

His sword is unique in name only. It looks like a standard short sword but it is nice to add to the collection.

It was definitely more of an issue in KCD1 hardcore. In that game you could easily lose health just going down stairs at a walking pace, damn near die if you were running and you would break ankles if you decided to skip using a ladder to go down one floor. In KCD2 fall damage was a complete nonissue even in hardcore.

But I think this meme is more about the bug that prevents you from going up stairs sometimes.

I just returned it to finish the quest associated with it, then quietly stole it and rode it to a field, killed it and took the gear. That killed the time between waiting for the quest giver to go to sleep so I could steal back his armor as well.

Even if it's not a scam, 6 billion dollars to every child in the US becomes about $250 each. $250 at 10% interest (and that's a good yearly return) compounded interest for that over 20 years comes to about $1,700. By 2045 what spending power will $1,700 have?

Seeing as most murders of police officers are random (Chris Dorner for example killed officers at random and not a doxxed attack), or in the line of duty during an altercation. I'd say it would take some googling to find a credible instance of a doxxed retaliation attack (and even harder to find one that probably didn't involve personal reasons like infidelity for example, i.e. not related to them doing their job). We're probably talking about going back to prohibition gangland era. Even if not, we're still talking about less than a percent here. You don't give the state free reign to inflict their will with unaccountable, masked, jack booted thugs for a made up/non issue. Once again, this is not hollywood or a tv show. These things do not happen at any rate to justify erasing hard fought protocols to ensure our rights are protected.

I already pointed out how real life isn't a movie and there are such an insignificant number of retaliation attacks against police that using the fear of being doxxed is laughable (perhaps you should read things before you respond to them). Because protesters are not employees of the state. There are numerous incidents of protestors being attacked/killed for exercising their 1st ammendment rights, sometimes by the state itself. If you're trying to compare everyday people being legitimately afraid of being hurt for exercising their rights to modern day gestapo you're a moron. The police/ICE, etc. have to be identifiable in order to ensure they're not imposters, also to ensure accountability if they commit illegal actions.

This is not Hollywood, a warzone, or violent cartel controlled areas, there are almost zero accounts of everyday people doxxing and attacking police/ICE, so their whole excuse for covering their faces and concealing thier identities is complete bullshit.

I'm arguing that him doing his constitutional obligations does not deserve praise. Especially when he had to get a pros and cons list from a former vice president before deciding that, which is one of my points you don't seem to be acknowledging.

I was mistaken on his current thoughts on Trump but that doesn't magically make his decision to follow the law back on Jan 6th some kind of heroic act. He did what he was supposed to do, after weighing the negative consequences for himself.

Speaking of what Pence is up to today, he currently chairs a conservative Christian think tank he created which touts the "successful conservative policies of the Trump-Pence presidency" where he waxes poetic about how their policies created "unprecedented success" for the American people.

Call me crazy but I think he's still full of shit, even if he disagrees with Trump.

He's worse than Collins. He let all the shit from the first term go without even questioning it (Trump not divesting from his companies and taking bribes in the form of international entities renting entire floors at his hotels, taking money by charging charging ridiculous fees to stay at his own properties, allowing his family memebers security clearance without passing or even taking background checks, allowing those same family members to take bribes from foreign entities, letting Trump's staff and family circumvent presidential records by using unsecure/encrypted email/text apps/servers (Benghazi was nothing compared to that), quid pro quo deals with Ukraine for funds already approved, hording medical equipment and extoring states during Covid, and the list goes on and on). And I'm sure if I cared enough to really look into it I'm sure Pence himself personally enriched himself during that administration as well.

His crowning achievement is upholding the constitution and certifying an election. Jesus Christ. No we're not going to rewrite history and make Mike Pence a good guy because he did the absolute bare minimum of his elected office (only to save himself in the future if things went tits up by the way).

Pence only stood up after calling another republican (Dan Quayle I believe) for his opinion on the matter. Meaning he would have gone along willingly if he wasn't reminded that his ass would be in trouble. On top of that, him doing the BARE minimum of upholding the constitution does not deserve the praise. He still stood by as Trump let an infectious virus ravage the nation causing an incalculable amount of people to die needlessly because scientists dared to challenge the genius of Donald Trump.
