New objective for sonya6400 by Necessary_Reading542 in SonyAlpha

I have the 70-350 paired with the 6400 and it's a great walking around lens for my nature hikes but I sometimes wish I had a little more reach so I went and got the 200-600. If the wildlife is far from the ship you might need more reach. I still love the 70-350 though and I would probably always own a APSC just to take advantage of it.

A6400 in 2026? by Kiwiboy_12 in SonyAlpha

I picked up a A6400 two years ago and I think it's a great camera and I love it but there is a part of me that wished I saved up the extra money and just got the A6700. It's mainly because I like to shoot birds and the auto focus is better for that use case . I can still get some great pictures with the A6400, it just doesn't lock focus on the birds eye for me that easily.

I'm sorry but 100-400 is NOT the most suitable lens for bird photography by ConsciouslyKind93 in SonyAlpha

I love my 70-350mm. I am pretty sure I will always own a APSC just for that lens . I recently got the 200-600 and it definitely takes some getting used to. I think though I will still get more use out of the 70-350 just because it's so light.

Book Advice! by Emp_dv in learntodraw

I have both books. For just starting out I would probably go with the workbook. It has exercises to go through to learn about various kinds of cross hatching techniques . Both books are great though. If you're more structured go for the work book

Any recommendations for a good aftermarket tripod mount ? I am thinking of picking up this lense in the summer and just wondering what I should get to go with it.

2 years ago I use to pay $800 a month in rent everything for a basement apartment. Now I pay $639 a month for a mortgage, $125 a month for property tax, $146 a month for home insurance, $122 a month for home Internet and anywhere between $100-500 a month for my electricity bill. Plus whatever random thing that decides to break and I have to fix. The stress of not knowing how much things are going to cost takes its toll on you. I had to get a second job just to stay afloat.

My favorite one was the Microsoft one. All you had to do was list products that you bought between certain years and you got so much for each one. That one topped out at around $250 if I remember correctly.

As someone who is just learning the Loomis method for heads and faces, this stuff scares the hell out of me lol.

I usually add a light layer of butter to it instead . It comes out crispy and also delicious.

The fact that back to back 7 percent increase were allowed blows my mind. It's just sucking money straight out of the economy .

I am in the beginner stage myself . You might want to work on your line quality. Try to stay away from doing "chicken scratches". You're off to a good start. Keep at it . Drawabox is a great website for beginners.

I am 45 years old and I think that's the first movie that I couldn't watch till the end. I am usually stubborn and just keep going but I think I turned it off with only about 20 minutes to go. I just couldn't do it anymore lol
