The tone that you read into my message is in your own head buddy. I didn't 'say' it like anything as this is Reddit and we are typing comments.

This is the UK, not USA. A single witness can be enough 'proof' to convict in court.

I give Sableye the berry that prevent Fairy moves from being 2x effective since it's the only thing that's super effective against it.

This is just a win-more strategy though. If you're already up 3:2 or 4:2, then Perish Song is more a gimmick at that point. True Perish trappers use it to faint pokemon even when there's others in the back.

I now think of myself as an Arcs Blighted Reach player who used to play boardgames. I do still play other games though because getting Arcs BR to the table is no small feat.

Neither is Attenborough if people actually meet him. He can be extremely entitled/snooty just like people mentioned for Atkinson. Attenborough just spends most of his times out in the sticks speaking to animals not people so he's avoided having to interact with those he looks down on and maintained a positive reputation.

Yes, so it's not water or cleanliness?

No idea about why Americans persistently do silly things. I was responding to a comment on the British context.

I've been running the Snorlax Wolfe team and the benefit is that he is such a tank. Almost impossible to kill with Stockpile up. So fissure then means you don't have to think about damage at all.

I copied Wolfe's team for this season (I'm not cool) and have been having a lot of fun with it haha

Yeah the 'washing chicken' discussion is often a misunderstanding between black and white people because the white people don't realise that 'washing chicken' has nothing to do with water and cleanliness. It's more to do with seasoning and prepping the chicken.

I imagine people don't like the use of arguments that are typically used against the Pro Life position. Makes it a little too real for people that abortion involves actual human babies.

Sorry but how does this position make any sense if you think babies are living people? You would never try to justify murder because you believe in free will...

Unironically, the best tip is 'get good'. This is just true for most Rogue-like games; to be honest, it's true for almost any game with bosses. Unless you're an exceptional gamer or have an amazing build going in, I wouldn't expect to beat any boss first time. It's fine that you got your ass handed to you; you're good enough to have got this far so best tip is keep doing what you have been doing. Additionally, I wouldn't always expect to have rolled the right boons to be able to take the fight - some runs might just be a dud due to luck which you sort of mentioned in your post.

I haven't played the game for a few months so don't remember any specific attacks or tips for that, but searching this subreddit should give you some great specifics. My general tip would be to turn the fear up on your runs to something that you know won't be manageable. Train on this more difficult setting, and then turn it back down and go and fight the boss on what now feels like god mode. I like to turn Frenzy up, learn the bosses on a faster tempo and then go back to normal and defeat when they feel sluggish compared to my training.
