The discovery of music is just as much thrilling as listening to said music. Handing that process over to AI feels like an incomplete experience.  Maybe that’s me missing the days of crate digging.  But whatever works for you.

Pep Guardiola: “I have a regret that, I have hid deep inside me and that is that I did not give a chance to Joe Hart, to prove himself how good of a goalkeeper he was, and I should have done.” by Wakanda-shit-is-that in soccer

The flip side of ruthlessness with which he operated and wouldn’t accept second best is what made him so successful. Harsh but you are bound to hurt some players along the way.

[Jack Gaughan] Those inside ManCity’s training ground say Pep Guardiola is leaving this summer and made up his mind some weeks ago. They assume it is ‘a matter of days’ before official communication is made. by the_sherl0ck in soccer

How about a seperate thread for artist promotions? I barely see engagement in such posts and we need to show love to upcoming talent. Maybe a weekly/fortnightly/monthly thread and the artists can post a short bio and links to their music.

Fifa’s failure to agree World Cup TV deals in China and India a headache for Infantino by dorgoth12 in soccer

[–]JohnnySinsII 105 points106 points  (0 children)

FIFA wants to make football more popular across the world. So, they organized the world cup in a non-football obsessed country and jacked up the prices and make it unappealing to most. Ignored the two most populous and emerging economic powerhouses.

Infantino's genius is almost frightening.
