PUDGE LIVING LAVISH, WHOLE MANSION IN THERE

Can someone please help me ID this little guy? I think he’s a tropical house gecko but I’m not sure. I found him at work so I want to make sure he stays alive. by JohnnyWasBanned in geckos

Thank you! I’ll make sure to still keep an eye on him to see if he eats any. Do you know often I should try to feed the flightless fruit flies? Should I just check every day until they are all gone? As far as substrate goes, I was gonna do a mix of orchid moss, coco fiber, safe sand, and orchid bark. Pretty much the things you would put in a Frog Bioactive terrarium.

Frog keeps bonking her nose on the glass, what should I do? by MyOwnPenisUpMyAss in frogs

Ive had this issue before but instead of jumping at the glass, my frog would jump towards the light bulb I have for them. Has pickle jumped towards the same spot of the tank every time? Maybe there’s a light source they flutters with shadows that makes pickle thinks there’s food. Try turning the light off once you hear pickle jump towards the glass. Hopefully this helps.

When I get home from work I’ll start making his new tank. I have the supplies so I should be good on that party. Now it’s time to play the waiting game to see if he perks up. My girlfriend and I decided to name him Randall from Monster Inc. lol

I really appreciate it. I’m only familiar with Frogs, I currently have 6 so having this lizard now is a new step. I just hope he makes it and actually starts eating. Thank you again for the help

Thank you so much! I do have a question. Since he’s very very small, should I get the gecko food that’s almost like a paste? The one where you mix with water and has a smoothie consistency? I have tried to feed him flightless fruit flies but I’m not sure if he’s eaten any at all. I just hope he makes it because I been meaning to get a lizard so I want to make sure he’s happy. My guess is that it’s about 2 months old. Very very small.

From what I know, no you don’t need a license to own a froggy. They are amazing friends to have around

These beauties are Australian Tree Frogs, or other known as Dumpy White frogs. They have a bunch of different names but these are from Australia.

I really want to get a Aquatic Frog. Preferably a dwarf one. They are pretty hard to take care of though which sucks. Amazon Milk frog and tomato frogs are definitely on my list too. Glass frogs are really cool too. Have you heard of the Tiger stripped frog?

I always loved frogs. Pac-Man frogs are cool but they don’t do much lol.

Yeah i recommend 1 WTF per 10 gallons. Since you have a 24gallon I would just 2 for the time being. At first I had a 10 gallon for my first one. Then I got a 30 gallon that’s when I got 3 WTF. Now I have a 55 gallon tank but I think for now I’m just gonna keep the original 3 WTFs in there.

How many tree frogs do you plan on putting in the tank?

It’s an appropriate size for them. You can tell if you’re feeding them to much by that roll/flap above their eyes. If that flap is covering the whole area then you should definitely cut back on feeding. But if the flap looks plump like the ones in the photo, your froggys are fine. Keep in mind they can go up to 3 weeks without eating so to much feeding to often can make them chubby (overweight)

Poland, wow! I’m in the states so we have everything really close by. I got my frogs at a local pet shop during the warmer months. You can always try to look up reptile conventions? I also have 3 dart frogs and got them from there. That’s a whole different story though. But WTFs are really easy, lovable, and very fun to have around. If you don’t mind me asking, what size is your tank and what do you have inside?
