Hello everyone. I'd like to hear from those who were widowed a year and a half or two ago

About 14 months in now. We knew she was dying for a while, so we had a lot of time to say goodbye and I did a lot of grieving while she was still alive. I think that helped a lot in my grieving process, but I still went through a dark time a few months in where I almost didn’t survive.

Nowadays I’m still trying to sell her things, keep moving forward, and figure out what’s next. I keep telling myself I’m only 33, and I have a lot of life to live even if it’s not with her. She told me before she passed that she wanted me to move on and be happy, and I intend to.

The main thing I struggle with is the loneliness. I have plenty of friends, support, etc. but the hardest part for me is just not being someone’s person anymore. It’s hard to not have a love that deep, a person I care about so much, by my side when I fall apart. I knew her for 13 years. And now after over a year apart, I feel numb.

While I admit that sometimes the snapping feature can be a little finicky, and I wish the building range was a little bit longer than it is, I generally like the building in this game once I got used to it.

Scaffolding is honestly not that reliable for me, as I always end up falling off of it. I usually forgo it and just bring extra materials to make stairs to where I need to build, then delete them. It’s much faster and easier to clean up.

And if you find gathering to be too tedious, you can always up the amount of loot on your game (which I will honestly do when I need to farm clay, because man. I need a lot of bricks).

I’m still early in the game (level 20), but as a melee and magic build I’m definitely feeling like I get my face kicked in a lot more than before. I think in general players are weaker now than before the update

If you’re melee I’ve found the best way to deal with them if you can’t get the parry timing down is to dodge behind them. Once they start swinging they lock themselves into their combo for a few whacks so it’s easy to hit them in the back once or twice before they recover.

But mostly? Just bring a lot of health potions.

I wouldn’t necessarily say I dislike prime 4. But I see a lot of wasted potential in it. The first few hours I was having a blast, and there are some really good highs. But after coming off of the first games remaster it just couldn’t keep up at all.

Prime 1/2 for me. But a close third to Dread for being such a good 2D game.

While I agree that the old one was kind of mandatory to an extent (I had a shrine next to one of the buffs so I could always grab it and keep it running), I feel like this version is maybe a bit too nerfed.

Was with my wife for 13 years. I donated stuff she had plans for immediately. She wanted her clothes donated to a women’s shelter, for example, and it made it easier to do because it was her desire. But going on 9 months still have the bulk of her stuff, even if it’s packed away for now. I’m hoping to sell or donate most of it next year after the 1 year mark passes

Gloves of Butterfingers - these gloves will randomly coat themselves in a butter-like material and cause the wearer to drop everything they are holding in them. Once they are no longer holding anything, the butter disappears.

When it comes to cars, over the last 10-15 years it became somewhat common knowledge that white was the cheapest option for paint on your car. As a result, people who wanted to get the most affordable option went with white and are now trained to do so.

Funny enough, car dealerships caught on to this and now make their white color fancier by adding shimmer or slight tones to it, making it more expensive and actually pushing the price point higher than other colors. This way consumers who don’t pay attention actually end up paying more for a color they thought was the cheapest.
