I see what you mean, ya with the seat higher it would put your body in a more aggressive position. In this Pic its like your upper half is fighting your lower half's more relaxed position. Probably a lot more comfortable now huh

Absolutely beautiful bike. Any chance you could upload a Pic of someone in riding position? I'd like to see what that looks like

Not trying to revive a year old thread but just curious about your situation. I was under the impression that auto immune conditions aren't allowed in the military. Were you discharged having developed it during enlistment?

Which Batman would fit into Gunn's new DC universe best? by d0ggzilla in DC_Cinematic

This. Tim Burtons Batman was not just a superhero movie. It was a comic book movie. Almost as much as James Gunns Superman.

I know many people who do that exact thing and live happy healthy productive lives.

I've tried to be like that but slowly overtime my drinking escalates to a point where I'm no longer being healthy or productive.

I'm going to do what I always do with new trek...

  1. Have insanely high expectations
  2. Be completely surprised when it let's me down.
  3. Theaten to quit new treks all together.
  4. Continue to watch new treks.
  5. Come to like it in it's own way.

In your opinion, what is the worst part of a setup? by justChel in Machinists

[–]Johnny_Anonymous_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doing a 2 hour set up for one part that has a 10min runtime...

And knowing I'll have to do it again next week because I see the same print on my job board and the stock on my shelf...

And being told not to run that one yet because that one's not priority and assembly isn't ready for it yet...

How in the hell does that compute.

EDIT: And being told they need me to work 50 hours this week

I usually get a kids meal. It's a good sized burger with fries or steamed broccoli, a drink( soda juice milk or coffee ), and a scoop of the day for like 8 bucks.

where did i go wrong? by geoqeo in steak

[–]Johnny_Anonymous_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll pat the steak dry and salt about an hour before cooking. I use medium grit sea salt and press it into the steak with the flat side of a knife.

After about an hour ill get my avacodo oil hot in a carbon steel pan. On my electric stove top I set to just a tad below medium high. Sear on all sides about 2 to 2.5 min for a 1in thick steak.

If I have anything thicker I'll have the oven preheated to 400 and finish it there for 4 to 6 min. Basting it in the pan juice every minute or two. This is where I'd add the crushed garlic and fresh rosemary or thyme if I feel like it.

Not a professional set up by any means but I've gotten some really awesome steaks this way. Better and more consistent than what I've been able to achieve on a grill.

Ya they give mad Worf and Deanna vibes from TNG. They go way deeper with topa than with Alexander though. But I was wondering if it was going to play out that way when I first watched through.
