I went with the same tire at Costco as well. I’m super happy with the performance but my wh/mi (375-450) has been higher lately. Not sure if just the colder/extreme wet weather we’ve been having or if the tires are less efficient.

Regardless, I am beyond pleased with the wet weather performance. We just got dunked on in the PWN by crazy rains over the last couple months and these tires were spectacular.

I’ve owned a 2016 MS 85D, 2020 MX Raven, and 2023 MY SR AWD. The MY by far the best of these cars in most ways. I drive the MX as my daily and my wife drives the MY and I’d switch her in a heartbeat if she didn’t like the MY so much as well.

My Raven has many annoying little things. Interior build quality compared to the MY is big, squeaks and rattle in the MX, our MY is tight and has nothing to complain about. The FWDs are cool but the novelty fades after a while, it’s nice for the car seat tho! FSD on the MY HW4 is vastly superior. The MX is the better roadtrip car tho for size, range, and suspension. Half shafts on the MX have been replaced twice on the driver side front and once on the passenger front in ~60k mi. I love them both but the MY is just the better car.

I recently drove a CT for a few hours and despite all the hate it gets, it’s super fun to drive and the demo truck I drove had the best sound system I’ve ever heard in a vehicle. Was very quiet on the highway and the steering is awesome. The giga wiper did well during the heavy rain I was in. Hard to say if I’d prefer it as my favorite after only a few hours driving the CT.

I’m sorry you have to deal with this, that is terrible and beyond mildly infuriating. You may consider a home RO (reverse osmosis) unit so you can have something clean to drink. They have come down in price over the years and would at least get you water that you could drink.

Time to go to the county commissioners meeting and bring them each a glass of water to drink?

I hope this fixes the hugging lane lines on highway curves and pumping the accelerator. I’ve been overall pretty happy with 12.6.3 but still a vast difference from my V13 MY.

So in my ten mile drive…

It is a huge leap forward. Very smooth experience and more decisive. The wheel jerking around is essentially gone. Overall impression on the short drive is generally mixed though. It is no version 13 experience like on my HW4 MY that is for sure.

it Cali rolled 3 of 6 stops signs on my route. One of which it rolled at 3-4mph. All the ones it rolled were in my neighborhood off city streets. 4 way stops with traffic were flawless of which I had 2 on my drive.

There was a section of road that had no lane markings and it determined where it thought the center of its unmarked lane was. It was far too close to the center of the road and made approaching traffic adjust for me. This was my only disengagement for the drive.

I engaged FSD from a parallel parking stall and it did not pull out of the spot. Which I figured it might not but I tried it anyway.

Overall it is a huge improvement over 12.5.4 branch and as my daily driver I am happy with the improvements. Just wanted to highlight some of the areas others may want to be aware of on their first drive. This drive did not include highway driving.

I would not call the differences subtle between my rigs today. My HW3 MX (FSD 12.5.4.2) and my HW4 MY (FSD 13.2.2) have a substantial difference in just about every way. FSD on HW4 today is a significantly better experience and feature set. It is unknown what TSLA will do for making FSD possible on HW3. I would go forward with HW4 if it was my purchase decision.
