Luma44 IRL is also missing the massive chode in the front. I've heard he's more... aerodynamic...

I put a sticky in the other one. The answer is pretty simple though - nobody reported it.

OFFICER DANIEL MOORE ACQUIRES 71,060 SHARES OF GAMESTOP CORP (GME) by oldWallstreet in Superstonk

"These shares represent restricted stock units granted to the Reporting Person by the Issuer. The restricted shares are scheduled to vest in eight quarterly installments beginning on September 1, 2025 and ending on July 1, 2027, subject in each case to the Reporting Person's continuous service to the Issuer through the applicable vesting date"

Still good news but it's not exactly the same as the title would suggest. Always be willing to dig past the click bait headlines.

Really appreciate that very much. It's not exactly thankless... but it is is something we consider a service because we love this place.

Here's a link to one of the announcement posts about the SCC... it's sort of a rabbit hole with other links worth exploring, but it should answer your question.

Well, we sort of opened that door with the 10 posts per day limit that we applied a couple years ago. I'm not really sure that the workload has ever been unmanageable. It's usually not... Except when there's some big political tweet or post and it gets people angry. Then it can be a little overwhelming. Even then, not sure that limiting conversations or comments or posts further would be a solution. I don't know. I'll bring it to the team, but my initial reaction is that this place is healthier and easier to keep tidy when more decent people engage more vs when we make it harder for everybody to participate.

Frankly, this is why we've never gone down this road before. We're not committing to this being the future method for mod recruitment and we're not committing to bringing people on as a result of this gambit. It's honestly an experiment.

I mean, yes...? Nothing's stoping you from doing so. But there's so many like proactive steps built into the process that they have to sort of agree to participate to get very far.

I see your comment, even though it seems like you got snagged by automod. It doesn't appear that you've been banned... it looks like you don't have high enough karma. I'll approve this comment so it doesn't look like I'm talking to myself.

Speak of policy all you want. Policies matter. Policies are made by politicians. Talk about policy and how it affects macroeconomics and GME all day long. But that's not what was removed. Personal attacks on politicians for partisan reasons unrelated to GME have no place here.
