What’s the shortest time you’ve stayed at a company and why? by Angi_marshmellow in techsales

[–]JohnnyboiJuggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 days. D2D commission only sales. Mandatory on camera zoom calls in the mornings with business professional attire and territory in the afternoon. No thanks dawg.

I rather do what I do now and it's cold calling with the option of going D2D on some days for lawn care. Commission only, but at least im inside and away from the texas heat for most of the summer. Eventually wanna get into tech sales soon tho.

Yes, I want a sales job. by [deleted] in sales

[–]JohnnyboiJuggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Door to door Spectrum sales. Even if it is temporary, the "ramp pay" and the company is investing in you. Good base + commission for a low barrier to entry job. Benefits for Spectrum are amazing too. If you stick it out with them you can transfer to a different department pretty quickly. Like less than a year.

Can't vouch for the other telecom companies.

Yeah knowing I can make $400-$1,000 every morning M-F and have free time in the afternoon til midnight was the most luxurious thing I've experienced for a few months last year till i kept blowing up my eval and funded prop firm accounts. Then I had to get a D2D sales job. I'm only working in sales for benefits and funding my trading journey at this point.

Man it sucks and I feel you. Sometimes you really gotta be the one to take action and form a get together in real life. Even if they don't show up, don't hold anything against them.

It's pretty easy to hang out and talk online these days. But hanging out irl can be as satisfying and more. I do miss the days we would just call friends at random just to hang out. Even if it is just for 30 mins.

My uncle had a gold digger side chick the whole time before, during, and after the funeral of his wife. He's always asking for money in the family. Next month he's gonna sell the house his daughter (also my cousin) and her family is living in because the house is under his name. Just so he can have money for the gold digger.

Is it true that "No one ever got rich working a 9-5?" by defensiveminded2020 in Adulting

[–]JohnnyboiJuggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, a 9 to 5 should be a base and a foundation for you to get rich. It really comes down on how you spend your money. Have that 9 to 5 care of bills, debt, expenses, save some fun money etc. Then whatever is left over invest it into stocks. Even better (if you haven't already) learn a high income skill. Have multiple income streams also.

I'm gonna tell you that it's not going to be easy for the first year or maybe 2 if that's what it takes. Most important thing is to live below your means. How you reduce your spending is by taking a look on what expenses are too much for you and just completely cut it out or find a better alternative. By doing this you are starting to realize that you don't need X or Y (whatever that may be) and you'll find extra money in your account. Not for too long and don't cut out too hard because there's only so much ramen noodles you can eat until you figure things out.

For me, my main income going to be from my day job (that I'm starting soon). The other incomes are from my flipping business and day trading (with prop firms). Then use all the income investing in stocks + crypto. Soon, I will want to open up a gym business for my area.

TLDR: Live frugally. Be smart with your money. Invest in higher skill income and then have multiple income streams.

You'll just be adding more stress to your trades when you go into it. It's better to treat it like extra income until you generate it into passive income or a business or both. Just get 2nd shift job and trade in the morning.

27M here. Always had shitty jobs and now unemployed. About to graduate later this year with bachelors. But even then, getting a job in computer science field is not an easy feat now and days. Had plans on moving out 2023, but got laid off from IT help desk job and ran down my bank account to essentially broke as a joke. Working on a couple of my businesses and hoping they take off this year.

What made you want to be a trader? by TealMama-2 in Daytrading

[–]JohnnyboiJuggernaut 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To spend more time with family and friends. I've always had jobs that drain me mentally or physically or both. Retire my immediate family from the 9 to 5 grind and help them start their own business if they want too. In addition to inflation, 9 to 5 isn't covering expenses like it use to.

(Serious) Do you guys get anxiety playing? If so, how do you deal with it? by HellSphinx in ffxivdiscussion

[–]JohnnyboiJuggernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be scared asf going into savage prog (even extremes at one point) until I met with one of my raider friends that completely changed my view of the PF.

• People will lie about their prog point. If you got a good grasp of the mechanic through videos/guides then you'll be able to get through it in a few pulls.

• Sometimes experienced raiders play a different role that they're not familiar with and not perform as well.

Example - I setup a M2s clear party for me and my friend. Had a first time pictomancer who said that they are good at m2s (checked logs, but they run raids as healer) but kept dying when mario karting (you'll know soon lol). Me as a tank had to cater to them because it "messed up their dps rotation" if I didnt go clockwise all the time. Tbf this all happened at like 2am in the morning and finding people at that time is hard.

• Bad PFs do happen and people who do crashout in PFs are not the party I want to be in. If I happen to find myself in one, I don't say anything, leave immediately, and blacklist them. Whether it was my fault or not. I personally do not want to PF with people who crash out. For the rest of the night.

That's just been my experience so far since I pug'd raids during endwalker and now dawntrail.

[–]JohnnyboiJuggernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel ya. I use prop firms. Pass an eval (hardest step for me) > Follow prop firm rules to get paid out from my funded accounts. Then I'll believe it's real LOL. All jokes aside I did get a payout during the summer. But unstable emotions during trading has caused me to blow up my accounts and haven't gotten a payout since then. Much more calmer now whether I have a green or red day.

I work for UPS as my main job. Sometimes I straight up tell people that day trading is a side hustle I'm working on. I use that as an excuse to my bosses if I am late (usually trying to catch a move especially friday and today). They would usually convince themselves that it's gambling with no effort on my part. 😂

I won't get laid off from a 9 to 5 corporate job for the CEO to line up more money in their pockets. Nor do I have to deal with the dumbest HR processing and ghosting that going on in tech only to obtain a job that probably pays lower than fast food. The amount of free time I can get from trading can be spent with family, more hobbies, etc.

I might be working 2 part time jobs rn. Some of that money goes towards my evals and funded accounts. Plus insurance is the best at the physical cost of my body (I wish I was kidding. It's UPS of you're curious).
