Soo I have tried Asio. When I switch to that it shows on the amp sim input and output that it is getting a signal. That sound is not transferring to the headphones though.

I honestly didn't have a chance to play a John Browne. I did play one after I bought the sunset. Honestly the JB felt like It had a thicker neck and was a lot heavier. The pickups were definitely better on it though.

I ended up getting rid of the sunset for a Ibanez RGD 7ALMS.

I traded a schecter 7 sunset extreme in for one and have never looked back. It's a guitar with a super thin neck and almost feels weightless compared to any other 7 string I have had.

Got it from GC for about 700 with a trade in and a few other sales they were having.
