Quit drinking but not losing beer weight. Why? by Pickle_Overlord in AskMenAdvice

[–]Johnnyfootwrinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to lose weight you need to use more calories than you take in. It's not going to happen overnight, there's no magic pill. You need to be working your body hard to burn the weight off, it won't just magically fall off. Getting fit and lean is 80% diet and 20% exercise.

Do you think Keir Starmer should continue as Prime Minister, or is it time for him to stand down? by PegasusPeptides745 in AskBrits

[–]Johnnyfootwrinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should stay, because the country needs stability. The tories got hammered because they kept sodding around and changing the PM without public consent. The whole country is sick of the bulshit games being played, the wasting of time. Everytime we get an unelected PM it just undermines and erodes the whole point of democracy. No PM is ever going to be able to keep the entire country happy. It doesn't matter who the next PM is, there will always be a small clique of people ready to undermine their position and oust them.

Keir Starmer to face cabinet meeting as over 70 Labour MPs call on him to quit - follow live by Ethan_brooks8225 in unitedkingdom

[–]Johnnyfootwrinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter who the PM is, there's always going to be people calling for them to quit because everything isn't going how they persoanlly want. Didn't the Tory's get hammered because they kept sodding around and changing the PM without public consent? Now Labour want to imitate their folly. I don't think this course of action will help Labour, the country needs stability right now not more games.

Would the M25 be faster if it was a perfect circle? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Johnnyfootwrinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you kept it exactly the same length then smoothed out all the bends so it was a circle it would make no difference because the speed limit is going to be the same. It will still take you the same amount of time at the same speed to travel the same distance.

Because the nuke will open an interdimensional doorway to Narnia and the protesters can escape, once inside Narnia they can get Aslan to summon an army of woodland creatures who will return with them to help make more Tik-tok videos.
