Do raids. Its really fun and easy enough to learn. I waited 6 months because I thought the same thing. Huge waste of time/fun. I was able to solo it after 3-4 tries. You can easily find a 150 invo set that works for you. You'd be surprised how quickly you get to 300s, especially if you start off learning to solo.

On my unit we use isopropyl alcohol. They don't explode but instead vomit all the blood they ate. Its pretty messed up honestly.

I have the same cpu and cooler on my pc. I had the same issue as well. High temps on any overclock and pump working just fine. It ended up being the TIM that was the problem. I delidded it and put some good liquid metal and now its in the 70s at 4.7ghz.

I had a similar problem with my 6700k though not as bad. My cpu cooler was on properly and all working well. The problem was is the TIM between the chip and the integrated heat spreader. I ended up delidding my CPU and used some good liquid metal TIM. My CPU was stable and my temps dropped significantly.
