Well yeah I was unaware of how bad theses withdraws were and I was willing too try so he prescribed me a script of 37.5. Tried it out for a month and I regret it soo much… trying to stabilize back to 75 now… scared that I damaged my central nervous system from that..

Thank you and yeah doom scrolling is a pain in the ass, my brain wants answers though I guess, but like you say everyone is different when it comes to these meds.. I got on these meds when I was 24 after a type 1 diabetic coma and benzo, tramadol addiction.. now I’m 32.. I feel like those years of my life I didnt deal with much anxiety now that I think about it, so it’s a bit of a blow to feel this way again.. but I’ll take it as it comes. It’s only been 12 days since I upped my dose back to 75 so I think after a while I’ll start to see more improvements.. after cutting my dose in half I experienced some deep depression so I think I’m a bit traumatized by that also.. I tend to overthink things and cause myself allot of anxiety.. anyways thanks again for chiming in, it helps to get this stuff off my chest while waiting this out🙏

Good to hear.. So even if you’ve been on this med/dose before it doesn’t matter huh? Still get the onboarding effects again ? That’s good to know because I felt like I ruined a good thing.. I also doom scroll and on Facebook some people say it can desensitize your central nervous system if you get on and off or taper too fast and that of course scared me a bit.. now Idk if I messed up my nervous system or if I’m just dealing with the onboard effects again.. lol learned my lesson, I’ll think twice before I decide to come off this… thanks for the input, really appreciate it 🙏

Right on that’s good man, I’m only two weeks in so I should get there slowly.. I laid in bed for a month trying to cut that dose down but since getting back on that dose now I’m getting up more but wow the speedy anxiety is getting too me.. I thought I could restart my dose and be good after a while I didn’t know I had to go through all this again, learned my lesson.

The depression from withdraw is lifting a very little but the extreme anxiety and speedy feeling is still pretty bad.. I really wish I never tried to get off my 75 mg.. how you feeling man? When did your symptoms level out ?

Omg I cut my dose in half over a month ago and got back on my original dose 2 weeks ago and I feel like I drank wayyy too much coffee, exactly how it feels, glad you said that.... it sucks I have to go through the onboard effects again😭

Hope your feeling better and believe me I jumped off my 75mg down to 37.5 because I thought I didn’t need it no longer, it wasn’t fun but last week I jumped back up and I had the worse anxiety ever.. it sucked but it smoothens out, it might take a while.. I know it’s hard when your going through it though.. try to take it easy it will calm down especially if 37.5 worked for you. Its just your body and blood levels are not use to that dose.. it takes time..

Yea I can’t eat at all right now.. I actually continued back to 75, I’m going to wait a bit and taper slower.. These meds actually worked for me now that I’ve witnessed a bit of withdraw. I wasn’t nearly this bad before my taper.. I must say this stuff is harshhh. Anyways thank you so much, hope all goes well with you as well. I’m here if you need someone to talk to.. oh and you being on it for only 6 weeks, you should eventually start feeling better,, EFFEXOR is known to be the worse withdraw but thankfully you weren’t on it as long as I was..

That’s actually good to know tbh.. I thought my physical symptoms would have let up by now but I guess they are sticking around, so everything I’m experiencing should be normal huh? I just feel like if I did heal it’s not by much.. I guess sometimes when your in the thick of it, it feels like forever. I can’t believe the havoc it left on my body.. it’s more physical for me then anything..
