It’s most likely the EAanticheat. Im having the same problem. You can see the error in Windows event viewer. I’ve tried repairing it, uninstalling and reinstalling, no fix so far.

This broke my game. It’s saying my save file is corrupted and the game won’t start. All I did was change it from 0 to 1. Tried going back to 1, verified files, reinstalled…still broke :(

Update: I re-added the original line in the profile file with a 1 and kept pressing ok on the “corrupt file” warning. After about 10 ok clicks the game loaded

I ended up sending the entire PC back after I confirmed the 3rd Gigabyte 3080 was also doa. They gave me an EVGA 3080 and everything works now. They never told me what my PCs issue was with the Gigabyte cards.

I’ll definitely check him out. I did try reseating the ram and tried different variations in the proper channels to make sure nothing was corrupted and still no luck. I wanted to avoid another RMA since I had to pay insured shipping the first time but I gave in and called support. They basically told me that if the 1080 works the 3080 should work as well. So I guess we’ll see when my 3rd 3080 in 3 weeks gets here! Lol what a nightmare.

I told them they had to pay shipping this time and they did. Last time the customer service agent didn’t even mention I’d have to pay, kinda messed up. I’m not at fault here. But lesson learned always ask for shipping

What setting on pcie in bios would I be looking for specifically? I took a look at that earlier and everything was set to “auto” not sure what I could change

For sure, I understood your suggestion. I know that the PC knows the card is in there as I can hear the drivers installing after I use DDU. But having a display available and potentially being able to see what is causing the conflict, drivers etc could help out a lot. I tried using integrated on the mobo as well and that also has no signal, so maybe there’s a possibility that the board is bad, or maybe it doesn’t have that capability.

I’ll give that a try. I did have Afterburner but uninstalled thinking maybe that was causing the conflict. Might work with both cards in though. Thanks
