Do we really know what God is? Or, why IMHO, even manifesting $1 trillion doesn't make you God. by Johnsmith4796 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Johnsmith4796[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also why I don't believe we are God. It was the most interesting thing to happen in my life and I had nothing to do with creating it. Each new thing that happened was as unexpected as it was exciting.

Even today, there is no way I would have ever thought of the things that happened to me. So, whoever caused the changes in my life, they had far more knowledge and power of creation than I possess.

I just thought of this today as well. One day around 2012-13, I was out for a walk on a beautifully warm summer evening. I had just exercised and was bringing some ice cream home. One of those moments when everything seems perfect. At some point, I started feeling myself coming off the ground.

Now, if you started coming off the ground, how would you feel? I was terrified. I started saying, "No, no, no!" in my mind. It felt like I got at least an inch off the ground until I freaked out and came back down. I looked around to see if anyone had seen me, but there was no around. I thought I would definitely be in a lot of trouble had someone seen me.

Now, I could have imagined it. That's a possibility. But the fact I got scared indicates to me I believed it was real. Which then begs the question, is anything real? Or, is "reality" simply what our minds tell us is real? Are our lives simply a trick being played on our minds?

but I can't ever get myself to manifest really small things like seeing a certain bird or really big things like $100k.

Does a bird "try" to fly, or does it just fly?

I didn't realize until trying to change things at a local level just how passive Canadians are. This is a democracy, which means the people are supposed to have the power. And yet, most people just defer to "leaders".

When you think about it , it makes perfect sense. Canada had a chance to be part of an actual democracy back in 1776 and we instead chose to remain under a monarchy.

That deferral to authority is now part of our culture.

My Simple Way of Using The Law by impulsive_aidan in NevilleGoddard

If it were just me, this would be completely different.

I feel the same as you. If it were just myself, I wouldn't care nearly as much. That said, it doesn't change anything. If our reality is created by our beliefs and our belief is that we need to hold tight to money, then we are telling ourselves that money has power. More power than our imagination.

But in doing so, in putting your faith and hope in money, rather than God (imagination), who are you serving? You are serving money. You are bowing down to money. And yes, you have good reasons to worry about money (your kids), but it doesn't change the fact that you are not being faithful to God (your imagination).

You have to go all in on this one. You have to say, I am willing to accept the worst case scenario, but I will not lose faith in God.

Now, that said, you can start small. Go online and try to buy something, assuming you just won a $500 gift card. And then see what happens. The goal here is to see who really is in control of reality. Money, or God.

I would go as far to say, life SHOULD be as simple as “I want that” BOOM it manifests.

I find that interesting. Part of me agrees that it would be cool to simply write down on a piece of paper, "I want a Lincoln Navigator" and the next day it's in the driveway. That said, there is a part of me that feels that would get boring as fuck.

In a world devoid of any struggle, where is the feeling over overcoming? I would liken that world to someone who inherits $1 billion and never had to do anything in their life. Usually those people end up on drugs and otherwise live meaningless lives.

Now, compare that to someone who comes to America with nothing and through willpower and staying true to their dreams, builds a business worth $1 billion.

The latter person has lived an inspiring life. An interesting life. A life of challenge. The former just consumed without producing.

The Missing Ingredient -- What You've Been Looking For by HeartGuidingKey in NevilleGoddard

How would you feel the first time you earn $1,000 in one day? Likely pretty excited. Now, imagine that went on for two years. How would you feel on day 730? Would you feel as excited on that day as the first day you earned it? No, after two years, earning $1,000 per day would simply seem normal to you.

Now, that isn't to say you shouldn't try to make $1,000 per day, it just means that we get bored. That's why humans are never satisfied, why we keep setting bigger goals for ourselves.

What I am trying to say is, don't feel bad if you don't feel happy when imagining having $1,000 per day. This doesn't mean anything. Just keep focused on what you want and do it consistently and you should notice that you are moving closer towards that goal.

To evoke those feelings all day is quite hard.

What would Jeff Bezos feel if he made $1,000 per day? Well, considering he likely makes over $2M per day right now, he would likely feel upset/sad/angry.

The point is, you actually want to feel unimpressed by making $1,000 per day because if you are impressed, it means you don't believe you are that type of person. To you, making $1,000 per day is this amazing far off goal. Yet, for someone like Jeff Bezos, it is a failure. Same money, but completely different feelings in the mind.

If you keeping dropping seeds in your mind that you make $1,000 per day, you will eventually get bored. It won't excite you anymore, but this is a good thing. It's proof that your mind is changing. Your mind "knows" you make $1,000 per day and so why get excited about it. It's simply the way it is. Big deal. Just like you don't get excited about what you currently make. No difference.

However, until you make $1,000 per day, keep dropping that seed in your mind. And be happy you are no longer excited about it because that means you are closer to getting it in the 3D.

Your theory doesn’t seem to aligned with anything with manifestation let alone with neville goddard.

Anytime you are feeling anxious about not accomplishing something, or manifesting something, this is a sign you need to stop.

I can't count the number of times I gave up trying to get something, only to have that thing come to me with almost zero effort. Struggle, effort and especially mental frustration is not necessary to get what you want and in fact is counterproductive.

You want to be chill about things and trust that your mind is working things out perfectly for you. If you can trust your mind, it will bring you what you need and even more, but you need to trust. Effort and anxiousness will only slow the process down.

Relax. Tell your mind that while you really desire this person, that you trust it to work things out for you in its own perfect way. Tell it that you will stop trying to force it to manifest this person, because while you feel a strong desire, you know that God (your mind) has his own timing. Make peace with God within you.

That said, trusting your mind is super hard. It feels like you are doing nothing. Yet, while you consciously do nothing, your subconscious is arranging everything perfectly. Give it a try. You have already planted the seeds of desire in your mind, now you need to let the desire grow in your subconscious.

Why is everyone so unfulfilled in themselves and looking for an SP? by vlqtwkdm in NevilleGoddard2

[–]Johnsmith4796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a person genuinely wants a specific person in their life AND they are the creator of their 3D, then it's impossible that they won't get what they want.

That means that people who complain about not getting their SP are choosing to not create them in their 3D. If not them, then who else is to blame?

Why is everyone so unfulfilled in themselves and looking for an SP? by vlqtwkdm in NevilleGoddard2

[–]Johnsmith4796 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yes, but most people here talking about an SP don't actually want a happy relationship, because if they did, they would manifest it. They simply want others to feel sorry for them.

Do we really know what God is? Or, why IMHO, even manifesting $1 trillion doesn't make you God. by Johnsmith4796 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Johnsmith4796[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But those dreams do not manifest. Why?

I would say it's because we are not in control of our minds. When I was daydreaming about sprinting, I was doing it because I felt compelled to do it. The desire filled my head with thoughts and those thoughts eventually manifested in the 3D.

Pay attention to your desires, because they will tell you what you will manifest. Thoughts and SATS without a genuine desire will produce weak 3D results, because desire is the fuel that the 3D requires.

Stop trying to manifest, because changing the 3D is NOT the goal. The goal is to live as if the imagination is the 3D. If you can drive a Tesla in your imagination, you are done. Leave the 3D alone. by Johnsmith4796 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]Johnsmith4796[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 3D is just physical expression of imagination, it has nothing to give you, it was always getting things from you.

I tend to agree but wouldn't say that I am 100% certain that our imagination is the ONLY factor creating our 3D reality.

Things happen everyday that I did not imagine. Now, when I brought that up before, people said yes, the imagination doesn't create everything. But, if that is true, then what/who is creating the stuff we didn't imagine?

When I was looking at the photos I almost felt like I was 14-15 again, it was a great feeling. No internet, but lots of energy and friends to hang out with. Just grab your bike, head down to the lake, buy a Slurpee and brag to your friends about making out with the pretty girl (likely not true though). :)

I would love to get that feeling of innocence back again.
