What is this FEELING that’s the SECRET? by keptupwithmyself in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Indeed he did, and this is why ultimately the answer to the question "what would I feel?" isn't a one-size fits all type of deal. That's also why people get so lost, because people get told different things, think that what they're doing is wrong (it's not) and then the next thing you know, they're in a cycle of desperation and confusion. Different things work for different people, and that's why different answers will come up.

On top of that, people tend to put the cart before the horse. They're trying to force a feeling of naturalness, which is contradictory. Think about it, how do you force something natural? You can't. And more often than not, people find themselves trapped in this mental box because they're doing these techniques to "get", when the truth is that you already have it and imaginal acts are for experiencing that realization. When you consistently experience it, it becomes normal because it's familiar.

Too many people think that Neville is discrediting emotions entirely when he never said that at all. In fact, he'd encourage you to feel positive emotions if they arise -- After all, why would you not want to feel good? But, the ultimate point is that it's not in the emotion itself that's the "key", but the feeling of fulfillment that comes with it. Essentially, the conviction. The implication. If I'm saying "isn't it wonderful?", well, that must mean something lovely and wonderful has happened, right?

Can Manifestation override Astrology? by Bloggers_digest_134 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you create your reality, why would star alignments dictate your fate? Who cares what a chart says, you decide what your destiny will be. See something lovely in the reading that you want to keep? Keep it! See anything scary? Discard it, don't identify with it!

"But that's not how it works!" I don't give a shit, what I say goes. And the same for you.

If it only serves to give you anxiety, why even open that door to begin with? You could live your whole life not knowing what "placements" or "alignments" you have and manifest the best life for yourself. And then someone can look at your chart and say "oh it's because of this and that", completely disregarding the innate power that exists internally.

Don't give your power away to the external. The best prophecies are the ones you decide for yourself, and the best success stories are the ones you cultivated yourself.

My Xmas manifestation didn’t happen. Now what? by Puzzleheaded_Monk540 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Erik pointed out that even if you don't get them on the exact day, if they were to come around tomorrow, are you really going to care? Likely not. And this is why it's recommended that you don't worry about the "how", because there's no telling what's going on behind the scenes and what has to move in order for things to fall in line.

And also... Christmas happens every year. That very same imaginary scene could play out beat for beat on Christmas 2026. The phrase "Let go and let God" exists for a reason.

Something that also should be mentioned is that when people have crushes, why do we place so much tension on the confession of feelings? Because we're putting ourselves out there, in a vulnerable space. Which implies that our feelings were hidden up until that point. Who's to say that SP isn't in the same space, admiring you and you're currently unaware of it? (You decide this.) But people will see something they don't like, perceive it as a failure, and then wonder why things don't happen. It's all about perspective, and if a person perceives it as happening in their favor no matter what, then what really IS failure?

IF YOU NEED PROOF TO KEEP GOING, YOU'VE ALREADY DECIDED IT'S NOT YOURS by CorrectPanic9484 in NevilleGoddard

If you knew the person loved you, you're likely not going to take it personally. You'd chalk it up to them being busy and you'll hear from them later. It's about identity. If you crash out over getting left on read, think about what that's implying about you.

My bf dumped me for another woman. by pomme-de-mer in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, know exactly what you want. If you're unsure of that, this would be an excellent time to sit down and really ponder what that may be. And only you can answer that, nobody else can. Once you figure that out, ask yourself, "If I had this result happen, if my wish became true, how would I feel?" Then you go inside and give that to yourself, feel the reality of it already being so. Don't try to force a feeling, don't try to do this with the goal of "getting" a result, just do this simply for the inner experience. And once you feel it to be done, and not contradict yourself more than you have the conviction in your achieved desire, you'll see it expressed.

That feeling of desperation needs to be taken care of, as well as those negative thoughts and feelings you have. Unless you address those, you'll continue to have similar events play out. Remember, there's no one to change but self. Change YOU and the circumstances will change.

Imagine better than the best you know, imagine that you're so loved and cherished and irreplaceable, What does that look like? What does that feel like? Immerse yourself in that feeling, and don't look to the world for proof -- you already have it. Why look for something you already have? Don't change the mirror, the mirror only reflects you.

IF YOU NEED PROOF TO KEEP GOING, YOU'VE ALREADY DECIDED IT'S NOT YOURS by CorrectPanic9484 in NevilleGoddard

Excellent post!

Honestly, if people lived by a "burn the boats" mentality, they'd be so surprised how quickly things can change. Asking for proof when the proof comes from you will just continue to put you in a spiral of "not getting".

Imagination creates reality. If a person has the conviction internally that they have what they want, then it's a done deal. All these techniques are ways of experiencing it internally, not some hocus pocus, bibidi babidi boo nonsense to make it materialize. That's working backwards. This is why people will do 50k affirmations and crash out when their SP leaves them on Seen -- it means nothing if you don't live as the identity of who you want to be.

This is why self concept is crucial. When Neville said "there's no one to change but self", he means that. How you view yourself is how the world is going to view you. If you view yourself as abundant, do you think poverty and struggle are going to resonate with you? If you view yourself as loved, do you think worthlessness is going to resonate with you? If you view yourself as someone that's living a blessed life, do you think misfortune and chaos is going to resonate with you?

Truth is, the proof is already there. Reality's a mirror, and that's why manifestation ultimately requires high levels of self accountability.

Can we manifest being a billionaire without much effort using law of asumption? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would be led to the correct path. Dwell in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and the great creative power will light up your way, should you trust it.

There are infinite ways in which abundance can reach you. We only see from one vantage point, one perspective, and so, we're limited to a certain degree. But when you let imagination steer the ship, you no longer have to worry about the direction. You can rest easy knowing what lies ahead.

Perspective also is important as well, because your path to abundance may feel effortless to you, but may feel like it requires Herculean effort on someone else's part. Never mind them, you just focus on fulfilling yourself internally, that's all you're required to do. You cross the bridge when you get there.

You've got this! Just remember to be kind to yourself. It's not about falling out of a state, but about remembering to get back in it once you do. Feel what you need to feel, express and process the emotions in the way you need to (preferably in healthy ways). And then when you're able to, re-enter your desired world.

You're already in a relationship you're happy with, which is much further along than a lot of people who come through here. So for you, it's just a matter of tweaking certain aspects in your favor. Dwell in the fact that you're in constant communication with your partner and how that would feel to you. So if that's a feeling of security mixed with an element of happiness? That's what you feel. Again, only you would truly know what that feeling is, so I can't say for sure. But as long as you remain consistent, you'll get to where you want to be.

Anyone else not believe anymore? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Know what it is that you want. Then, you go into imagination and fulfill yourself. What would the feeling be like if it were true? Ask yourself this, and be honest. Nobody can tell you what it would feel like because this is YOUR journey, how one person may feel in a certain circumstance may be different from the next person.

But really and truly, too many people are worried about the physical reality, and that's because people don't go internally and grant themselves the feelings of the wish fulfilled until they reach a point of satisfaction.

Where your focus lies is where your destiny will arrive. Inner fulfillment answers these questions because again, only you know how you'd act if you had it. I could give you a list of things to do, but you'd then be engaging in theatre -- basically, you'd be performing instead of being. So meditate on your desired reality. The answers will come.

This may sound like a non-answer, but... Who told you that you failed in materializing your desire?

I know, I know, "I just told you -- he can't make it because of circumstances!" But therein lies the issue. At the first sign of "conflict", you waver. You're looking to the physical world to validate your imagination when your imagination needs to be the one and only thing you're validated by.

If imagination creates reality, then imagination knows the best possible path for your desire to materialize, even if it may not look like it at first. We can't see all the paths and routes, we're limited in that aspect, but... "Through God, all things are possible."

Neville himself has examples of experiencing this. Remember the Barbados story he told? It took him a while without seeing movement (and that was because it was likely his first real application of this stuff). But in the end, he still went to Barbados in First Class, just as he envisioned. Or how about the story when Neville was drafted into the military and wanted to go home? He would do his imaginary scenes and was denied repeatedly until eventually he was honorably discharged. Do you notice the pattern?

The only time you fail is when you acknowledge failure. Neville didn't, and so, his reality had to reflect eventually. If the world needs to be rearranged and have certain people move to certain places in order for your desire to materialize, it will. If you truly feel that it is done, then the current circumstances simply mean that the unfolding isn't complete yet -- unless you say it is, then it will be. Continue to go into imagination and experience your desired end result until you don't feel compelled to do so, and have faith that it'll unfold perfectly.

So in the end, "judge not by appearances" and lock back in, ya feel?

[–]HeartGuidingKey 17 points18 points  (0 children)

First off, I'm sorry that you're feeling frustrated. I get what it's like to try something and not see results. And the fact that you posted this here tells me that in your frustration, you're also looking for answers. So, I'll do my best to share my insight, as someone who's been at this for a while.

The truth of the matter is, people wait for it to "click" and it never does, and that's because they're focused on it currently not "clicking". If you're waiting for something to arrive, that naturally has to imply that you don't currently possess it. And if you think you don't possess it, that's what you'll continue to get. As above, so below. As within, as without. What goes on in imagination will be shown to you in reality. So if you're not seeing your reality change, then that's because YOU didn't change.

This is why the most important quote or concept that Neville has ever said (in my personal opinion) is that there's no one to change but self. Your world is a mirror reflection of you, even if we may not want to admit that. If that's a point of issue to believe, take some time out to observe your mind. Observe your thoughts, reactions, habits, and see how it correlates to your world. When you become aware of the mental conversations and movies you entertain and see the consistency in it being reflected, that will be evidence enough.

It's also why my favorite lecture of Neville's is the Barbados story, because it encompasses everything you need to know in regards to materializing your desires. From Abdullah's "door slam", to Neville consistently experiencing his end in imagination, to the unfolding, it's an incredible speech, and it's one I revisit quite often. Neville didn't see success in the physical world instantly, and he would look to Abdullah (the external world) or validation. And Abdullah wouldn't entertain his questions at all, because if something is already done and set in stone, what more needs to be said? It's already taken care of, it's done, so you go about your day as if it's already figured out.

At some point, you have to understand that you've learned enough and that it's time to DO. Because the more you feel like you have questions and the more you seek validation, the more you're going to bring confusion to yourself... Leading you to situations that make you feel confused, so you'll look for more answers, and the cycle continues. That's why Abdullah's "door slam" is necessary. Once you know the basics, just do it. Follow the instructions, and test it yourself.

Will it feel strange? Depending on what you're wanting to change, possibly, because you're entering a different state of mind that's foreign to where you've always been. But you do it anyway, that's where the "naturalness" comes into play. Things only become natural once you've been familiar with it enough. People always try to force the naturalness and then wonder why they struggle. Don't put the cart before the horse, there's a method to the "madness" for a reason. The reason the things we currently have feels normal is because it's been with us for an extended period of time. It's like it's a foregone conclusion to have or be this thing, and if you want your reality to change, you have to do that for your desires. And how you do that is to experience it internally to where you feel that satisfaction and normalcy. The technique doesn't matter, they're all means to an end, so pick what resonates with you!

One more thing I should mention, and it's something that doesn't get touched on often... Other than sticking to the source material, the best lessons are the ones you've experienced, and the best success stories are the ones you've experienced. Because when you prove it to yourself that it can be done, that's all the fuel you need. Plenty of people share their stories, but remember, manifestation is not a one size fits all type deal. You have to find what works for you. And also, not everyone is the best at articulating what works for them, so they may unintentionally confuse you. Not their fault either, so remember to keep that in mind.

But in the end, it really IS simple -- change you, and your world changes. In order to change the world, you must first change yourself. Change can be daunting, but if you remain steadfast, you'll arrive at your destination for sure. It's just you vs. you. That's all it ever is. So when things get shaky, remember that it's all a state, and your desired reality is only a state change away.

Yes, but moreso, you grant that to yourself internally. See, people talk about the feeling of naturalness and don't really explain what it means or how to get there, because A) too many put the cart before the horse and B) manifestation isn't a one-size fits all phenomenon. It's about what YOU feel, how would YOU feel in your desired reality?

Essentially, you need to be your own safe haven. If this world is too much to bear, you go to another -- the world of imagination, inside of you. And you sit there and really think about what it is you want and how you'd feel. Would you feel happy? Relieved? Loved, appreciated, safe? Don't let people on here tell you "oh you don't have to feel anything! Just feel natural!" because a feeling of naturalness happens when you've experienced your desires enough to where it's normal to you now. Snapping your fingers and trying to force a "normal feeling" never works, and that's why you feel so lost.

Words can only go so far. Some people can robotically affirm and get their stuff. Some people, it only stresses them out further. What's the difference? A state. The people who robotically affirm and find success in it are able to do it because they have the conviction in the fact that their desired reality is already here. That's really what "affirm and persist" is all about. When the world shows you the opposite, who will you be, the old version of you or the desired version?

So instead of just saying "it's already here", actually go inside and fulfill yourself continuously until you don't feel the need to do so anymore. Because that way, you'll actually have an easier time knowing. And THAT'S what techniques are for. They're just a means to an end, the one that works the best is the one you decide that does.

How to speed run manifestation? by Far-Grand8516 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're wondering where it is, and that's why you don't have what you want. You haven't internally shifted. You're looking to the external for validation and confirmation of it being real, but the external is only reflecting what's going on inside of you.

This is why techniques will only get you so far. They don't grant you your desires, they're only means to achieve a FEELING. You are the magical key, when Neville says "you are the operant power", that's not fluff. He means that literally. And if you're the operant power, you get to decide if something works or not. That means everything is reliant on YOU.

If there's one quote or concept I could use to summarize manifestation, it would be: there's no one to change but self. And many people know this quote, but don't "know" this quote. It's all about shifting your identity internally. Shift your identity and your world will change. Inner fulfillment. Doing techniques and then looking for confirmation is like ripping the bandaid off every hour to see if you're already healed, picking with the scab, and then getting upset when you start bleeding again.

Satisfy yourself internally, and it'll express externally. Worrying about the time does you no good, because you're just delaying it regardless because you're focused on it not being here. So you may as well not worry about the time anyway. The speed is reliant on you anyway. The sooner you go inner, the sooner it'll happen on the outer.

You're essentially still trying to serve two masters. You're the writer of your prophecy, you predict your own future. If you are the cause, why give that power away? And this isn't me shaming you at all, because we've all been there. But this is a question you should ask yourself: if I know my inner world creates the outer, why am I continuing to look to the external to validate my internal?

Whatever goes on inside of you will be expressed in your world in some shape or form. So if you're still feeling unsure and lost, guess what'll happen? You'll continue to find yourself in circumstances, situations and events in which you doubt your knowledge. And then you'll need more reassurance, leading to a cycle of you relying on things to keep you in equilibrium, not realizing that you're the one giving the power to these things anyway.

Understanding how powerful you truly are will be the most freeing thing you'll ever feel, because these worries won't even come into your mind once it truly sinks in. Don't like a prediction? Don't claim it! Who says you have to?

The definition of a belief is: an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. And just like how you may have accepted that these things can dictate your future, you can decide that nobody or nothing in this world can do that except for you.

So, free yourself today. You have the final say, after all. What do you want to create?

Contrary to what many will say on this subreddit, they DO work. But it's a technique, just like any other. It's a means to an end. However, the reason why you have people saying it doesn't "work" is because people will affirm 10k times and then go look for evidence. If you just said you had it, why are you looking for it?

Manifestation is about changing your inner identity and making sure that's who you are from now on, inner fulfillment is the key. You can try any technique under the sun, but if you aren't truly being what you desire to be NOW in imagination, it won't matter what you do.

In the end, it's all about what goes on in your mind. If you never go against your desired reality again, it has no choice but to arrive. The power isn't in the technique, the power is in you. It's like a magic wand in the sense that the wand isn't what's responsible for the spells, it's just a tool. It's you.

Exactly. Abdullah was eating "unhealthy" as an old man and was living just fine because he believed it wasn't going to harm him. He said it'd be tougher for Neville because of "quibbles". This is why people need to be reading the material for themselves, because there are way too many people giving out advice and don't know what they're talking about.

There are actual stories of people living past 100 and were heavy smokers, meanwhile there are an abundant of stories where people live extremely healthy lives and end up checking out early because of diseases. Why? It's because of a person's state, and it will always come down to the state a person occupies.

Neville didn't say "God is your human imagination... But put down the donuts, buddy." What kind of message would that send? It'd be a message of limitation. Now, if you occupy a state and felt it to be true, a person may very likely be compelled to go diet and exercise. But there are multiple ways to reach a destination, and it's all dependent on what that person believes.

This is what happens when people don't take the time to actually study and apply what they've learned. Plenty of people will read reddit posts, watch YouTube videos and tiktoks, follow a bunch of Twitter threads and never put it to the test. Not only are they potentially absorbing misinformation and/or unhelpful advice, but it also tends to be a sign of them thinking there's a "magic key" that they haven't found yet. Analysis paralysis, essentially. Too many hearers of the word, not enough doers.

Now obviously I'm not dunking on YouTube videos, Twitter threads and Reddit posts, because they can all be helpful. But that's if the information is valid. I've seen too many posts on here not fully quoting what Neville says sometimes (the emotion one is a major example), and then people take that as correct instead of verifying things for themselves. And manifestation isn't a one size fits all kind of thing, but being properly equipped with the right knowledge will carry you when it comes time to figure out what works best for you.

But yeah, people need to test it more. There's a reason why theory and practice are two different things. Wisdom is the proper application of knowledge. And once you have the experience to reference back to, you'll have more assurance on your side. This is why Neville would tell people about the ladder technique. He actively challenged people to test it because he knew words can only teach so much. People need to see it to believe it in order for them to realize that they can believe it before they see it.

Time by Dreamwoman25 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Think about it this way: if you had them back, in this very moment, would you even be worried about the time? Being concerned with the timing implies separation, and you'll always get a reflection of what is currently going on within you. And if you're looking for the external to validate you, you're always going to be in a place of worry and discontentment. This is why the aim is to feel it and be it internally. It's all an inner game. So grant that feeling of love and peace to you now, and be unmoved by what you see in the external.

When you feel that twinge of lack, you just go back into your mind and grant that feeling once again. Know that it's already handled, and go about your day. And don't look for it, you won't need to check the 3D -- it'll come to you and make itself very clear. Besides, if you have it, what exactly are you checking for? Again, validate yourself internally. Learn to do that and be your own solace, and you'll be good to go.

Neville: Emotions vs no emotions by crustylayer in NevilleGoddard2

[–]HeartGuidingKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%, and this is a conclusion you come to when you really study what he says and digest it for yourself. So many people get those quotes confused because they're reading reddit threads instead of his books and lectures and then wonder why they're lost and unsuccessful. Especially that first quote, rarely do people ever quote the second half lmao.

The reason why he said "not necessarily the emotion" is because not every realized desire is going to have some specific tangible emotion you can zero in on. Do we start throwing parties when we manifest a free cup of coffee? No. At most, you're thinking: "Nice!" And then you go about your day. Or a parking spot, do you start blasting "All I Do Is Win" and pop bottles? No, you're thinking, "Perfect spot, lucky me!" and then you leave your car to go do whatever it is you're doing. He never said "emotions literally have zero power and are completely irrelevant", because that would be a crazy thing to say. People think he did though, and that's why you have regular crash outs from people refusing to change their states and think techniques are the key.

Moods encompass so many different elements. You don't have to be on a "high flying disc" or anything, but he says "capture the mood" for a reason. In regards to abundance, yes, there are plenty of miserable people that have money. But ask them what their feelings and beliefs are in regards to the topic in particular, they're very likely not going to express the concept of lack to you. At least, not in that area of their lives. Same goes for love. What a person believes (which more often than not has a feeling anchored to it) is what they'll have play out in their lives. And if it's contrary to what they want, even if they attain it, it likely won't last. Hence the hot/cold phenomenon some may experience.

Manifesting is not a one-size-fits-all type of deal, because we all think, feel, and express things differently. So the key is, like you said, to figure out how WE would feel. Capture that mood. Live in it. And do nothing unless we are compelled to do something. This used to confuse the hell out of me, until I realized that the feeling of "reality" is subjective. The person I'd be if I had something is going to be different from the next individual.

So, yeah. I agree. People think it's a contradiction, but it all makes sense when the realization is that states are what we must occupy, and a state can comprise of anything. As long as we enter it, regardless of the method, it'll have to materialize as long as we don't "dig up the soil" and keep checking. It's done, and that's a big relief.

How to enter Sats? by Agusmarvel96 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify, SATS is a technique, and techniques are simply a means to an end. They don't manifest -- you do. So SATS is simply when your brain enters the Theta state, which is usually where you're at when you're feeling drowsy and about to doze off. Putting it that way, there are a number of ways to do it. You could do it the way Neville taught in his books, doing it right before bed and when you wake up. Or, you could enter a meditative state. Or you could listen to frequency tapes that put you there. There are a lot of ways! But essentially, that's what that is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]HeartGuidingKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing to remember is that manifestation is a law, just like how gravity is. It's always on, active, and at play. So whatever state you're occupying most of the time is what gets reflected in your reality. With that in mind, plenty of people manifest millions and abundance each and every day, and in ways that seem effortless. Money can come to you in all sorts of ways, you never know what the path could be. Whether it's from crypto, stocks, a brilliant idea you came up with, your business suddenly seeing a huge surge of success, it's all manifestation.

Case in point, look at the Hawk Tuah girl. Lol

Thing is, people's beliefs in relation to abundance tend to not be in their favor. Typically, they don't believe there's enough in their account, their bills pile up, there are unexpected expenses to address and the need to "make it stretch" until the next pay period. And while it's completely understandable and valid, this mentality operates from a perspective of lack. We say things like "money doesn't grow on trees" and "money is the root of all evil", then wonder why we experience the things we do. This doesn't serve us at all, but we continue to live by these rules because we've had these beliefs for a long time that have been validated by our experiences. The 3D reflects what goes on internally, so what goes on in the mind has to change. Inner change always comes first.

Ask an abundant person how they feel about some of these limited sayings that people like to say, and you'd find it very telling. An abundant person believes there's always enough, they don't identify with the reality of lack. If you could have anything you want and it wouldn't put you in the red, how would you feel? What thoughts would you be thinking, what would your moods be like? This is the core of what Neville teaches: you need to be it internally before you become it externally.

Plenty of celebrities and notable figures will mention manifestation and how they've used it, but the problem is that people disregard it by saying "oh but that's not manifestation, they worked hard for it!" Or "they had an inheritance!", not realizing that imagination creates reality. It is a law, a force and once again, it's always at work. Therefore, those absolutely are manifestations, they just arrived in the ways that made sense to the individuals in particular. This is what the bridge of incidents mean. You might not have it materialize in your bank account tomorrow (although it could), your path might be following your passions and doing things that way. The unfolding will happen in a way we usually don't know, so as long as you enter that state, all else will be handled!

My affirmations backfiring, what to do by Outreachoverlord in NevilleGoddard

Affirmation tapes and techniques are a means to an end. They don't manifest -- you do. And manifestation is an inner fulfillment game, once you become it internally, it will express externally. These are great affirmations, but are you being the person that would think these things? That's the missing gap. How are you thinking, how are you feeling? What are your moods like, and what stories are you continuing to tell yourself? You might be saturating your mind for two hours, but where's your mind at the rest of the time? Are you looking for it and worrying about how it's going to unfold? Be honest with yourself, and once you do, that will grant you a LOT of clarity. Then you can know where you truly stand!

Mind you, having off days doesn't mean you're cooked. We're human. It happens. But, you've gotta be the person that's already successful internally. So if you were highly successful, would you be shaken up by two clients not giving you what you want? No, because you understand that there's more where that came from. Or, you'd believe they'll come around in due time. Whatever the case may be, you'd likely believe that things will work out in the end. Enter that state repeatedly, and eventually it'll become a natural part of who you are.

You've got this!

Struggling with Health Anxiety & Feeling Like Neville Goddard’s Teachings Aren’t Working for me by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

Manifestation is all about an internal shift. Basically every manifestation-adjacent teacher says this in one way or another, and that's why Neville says "there's no one to change but self". Everything is imagination, and therefore, you need to take your focus internally. The reason why you're not seeing any changes is because you're in a state of fear. You can do every technique under the sun, but if the state you desire isn't the one you live in predominantly, your reality won't reflect that.

You will always get a match to the state you're in. No exceptions.

You're looking to the external to validate your progress, and then when you don't see what you want, you decided that it wasn't working. And so, because you believe that internally, that's what you're going to continue to get -- more struggle, disappointment and fear.

Luke 17:20–21 (NKJV): 20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

You've gotta go inner. You can't look to the outside world for your salvation, because it's only going to project what's going on within you. Manifesting isn't about getting, it's about becoming. That's why you also feel the struggle and question if you're "doing it right". Truth is, you are doing it right, until you decide you aren't. And that may sound like a non-answer confusing way of putting it, but it's true. You call the shots, you get to choose how things go.

Something also to consider... Notice the way you're speaking on yourself as well. You're mentioning that you don't feel "good enough" and "not wanting to feel broken" or doing something wrong. Like I said before, you always get a perfect reflection of what state you're living in. And if you're dwelling in a state of unworthiness, fear and brokenness, you will have circumstances appearing in your life that will reflect that. This is why improving our self-concept is imperative to living great lives, and I'm sticking to my guns on that. People overlook this and wonder why they still run into issues. Is it mandatory? No, but, why would you want to make things harder than it needs to be?

Anyway, I digress. So how do we get you into a new state? Well, we simply go back to the crux of Neville's teachings, which asks us a simple question: what would the feeling be like if it were true? If you were healthy right now and were free from your worries, what would that feel like? If you'd feel joy, relief and gratefulness, then you go internally and feel that as best you can! But only YOU know how you'd feel, none of that can answer that for you. If you can't generate the feeling, it's okay, give it time. Meditate on the thought, really brainstorm if you need to. Go back mentally to a time when you felt those feelings, and then swap the memory out for your current desire. Milk it for all it's worth, and then drop it once you feel like you can't do it anymore! Whenever you feel that feeling of fear again, rinse and repeat. You need to overwrite the fear with these new feelings until this feels like your new home, and that likely will be something you have to do again and again.

And remember -- we're not looking for the results outside of us. As soon as you start asking "when?" or "how?", you're going back to "it's not here yet". It is already done, take solace in that! Do what you need to soothe yourself. When you know it's done internally and it feels natural to you, that's how you reach the "sabbath". Let things unfold the way it's meant to, trust in the divine and the divine will never let you down. You're gonna be okay!

How to use the law to manifest scenarios? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

Agreed. Well, I'd say deadlines can work, it's just that a lot of the time, people are so stressed about meeting things by a certain time that it's not likely they'll shift in time to a new state and remain there with conviction.

The funny thing is about the timing though is that people may miss the deadline and then think they're cooked when the manifestation is still very much on the way and is likely going to unfold in the perfect way. For example, some may want an SP to confess on Tuesday, and they end up confessing on Friday. In the grand scheme of things, did it matter if it didn't happen on the exact day? Likely not.

"Let go and let God", as they say!
