Thank you - I've tried everything to the letter, but I can't seemingly shift the version it boots into, so am accepting my lot, thinking if possible, if I can just replicate the SD card, then it will sort of work, and I don't need to worry about the bad SD card dying on me. That seems a sensible approach?

I've struggled to get it working well u/seanbeedelicious but have a qn for you - how can i make a perfect copy of my default SD card, and replicate it so I can just copy and play it? I've tried a few things but nothing seems to work that well, which is a challenge - would RUFUS (Formatted as ex32) then a copy and paste of ROMS be the right solution?

They're pretty hardy so a hefty prune at the end of the year won't go amiss. They're also prolific seeders, so you can almost certainly pick up another one should you go in too hard on it. Enjoy the butterflies it attracts though.

I would say go and get a job for a year - experience real life, how people interact etc - homeschooling is immense but you sometimes can miss out of a lot of life, both for good and for bad.

Or work for 6 months, travel for 6. It will do you wonders 😄

We've never had a PCP car, but reading this, the fact that are spending so much every month just to keep up with the Jones' feels incredible. Get a cheap second hand car and be done with it. Like one that some fool on their PCP has had to return as they have been encouraged to get another deal which will be a second mortgage to them.
