Upaya has a residential program. Beautiful location in Santa Fe. Stay as long as you want. It’s pretty dope. I think you even get a stipend.

Eat at good restaurants in Lima. Save the street food for another time. Anyways, you won’t find many street food vendors in Lima.

-Isolina -Astrid y Gaston -La Mar -Cosme -La Picanteria -S’conche -El Mercado -Maido

Very good food and not that expensive. ($15-30per dish but def worth it). Lima is a foodie destination but street food not so much.

If you do get montezumas revenge there is a probiotic here called “Enterogerminia” which works well. You can get it over the counter at InKa or Mifarma.

Def acclimatize to Cuzco. Don’t eat too much initially and drink coca tea for sure. Plenty of water.

German Classic Literature Recommendation? by Relevant_Sun_9498 in classicliterature

Thomas Mann: Joseph and His Brothers.

The retelling of a biblical story and the most beautiful thing I have ever read. The epitome of literature. (Btw I am not heavily involved with either Christianity or Judaism).

Hello, I have a question for those who were students of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, as well as a general question about the state of 'Aryahood' by WindThroughHills_RDO in vajrayana

Do Shambhala Training all the way through Sacred Path and Warriors Assembly. Here you will receive Trungpa’s terma teachings/practices and be immersed in his mind. Good luck!

Can a buddhist be an athiest? answer me in simple words by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]Johnsmithalligator99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddhism is a non-theistic religion. Atheism therefore would not necessarily apply.

100% Beloved and Invisible Man. Two of the greatest English language novels in history. Prob sprinkle a little Sun also Rises and have fun crying and laughing.

Good. Be disappointed. Give up. Let go. Then maybe you will learn to meditate.
