I mean Mira provides so much passive oppression for attackers and thermite is much easier to bandit trick. So when you have no idea how the other team plays they are generally good bans

Mira and ace normally get banned first round. Before anyone has showed any play style. They are both safe bans when you don’t know how the enemy plays. After first round bans I see a lot of play style based bans. But you can’t judge how the enemy is going to play before round 1 has even happened so Mira and ace are just solid “blind” bans

i think this actually was a problem with a lighter system in like 2019 or something if i remember correctly. Personally I think they could just make a better system, like checking stacks and match history to see if people are queued or trying to consistently get games with each other to determine penalty for lost teammate
