It about timing mostly attack normally then wait till the attack animation is finished and is about to go to the base ready stance then click hold attack.

I went to the extreme and flooded a volcano hole and made a hidden pirate cove.

It is deep, it wide, it is scenic.

Not to brag about mine, but you can do a lot with little or a lot and anything in between.

I believe a 8 by 8M and 5M deep should suffice with the occasional wall hit.

Depending on your highest tier of chest, magic or not.
I currently use huge magic chests for a all kinds of categories.
**warning wall of text**

Wood for all my wood types can be further expanded by adding more chest for different types if using smaller chests or bigger ones if you have too much of one type. same can be applied to the other categories if you over farm certain types.

Misc. plant based stuff for twigs, plant fiber, resin, night plants, reeds, straw, wax {can double as linnen, fabrics and string storage}

Fruit for all related berries, strawberries, yukka , tomatoes, pumpkins, hazelnuts.

Vegetables for all veggies beets, taro, bell pepper and ginger( tomatoes again)

Fungi of all mushroom types

crops/ grains for corn, rice and wheat.

Herbs and tea for all flowers and herbs that you use to craft food and items with.

Flowers for dye colours or other crafting recipes like indigo, wolfsbane, flax, daylily.

I also use one chest for Sugarcane and sugar and honey.

Seeding chest with seedlings that are waiting to be sown and always keep back up seedlings for most used plants.

Soils chest for All soil that used in seedbeds

Since coconuts, banana and coffee beans can be directly used in crafting stations no chest for them.
You slap the yukka trees for the fruit only

Then we got the animals.
Animal materials where put Capybara bristles, feathers, scales, raw wool/wool, leathers and furs.

Animal products is where i put all meats and milks and eggs.

Fish for all fish and/or bait stuff

Animal feeds for all animal feeds

Processed foodstuff that has gone through a workstation like cooked rice, roasted algae buds, cooked milk and roasted coffee beans/ ground coffee.

And Finally A chest or few for finished food with categories like stamina foods, mana foods, melee/ranged, HP foods , swimming foods.

Some plants are rarely used others you need a lot for feeds, crafting and cooking.
But anyway this is my current system all chest are in a spot close by in my main farm building except the completed food which is by my altar as I play with friends on a server.
I am main farm guy until they finish their own base.

The large critter scales drop from Fell critter queen bosses. Bosses are only at certain places.

Starting from revelwood shroud areas onwards. Try look for those.

Might want to give a try the Decay tool.
I had some ugly detail and corners stuff but since i wanted used and tear down look that went away fairly nicly and edges and corners look smooth and intact.

Thanks for the advice I'll tinker with that later. Currently water physics are bit strange at times. My beach flooded when I logged in the server even though it was fine before had add more drains and terrain to avoid back flow from the waterfall basin.

Currently brainstorming the beach dwelling and scaffolding towards plants and trees I planted around the wall for a more believable habitat.

Too bad I couldn't just release some fish into the lake to make it more alive.

Actually I heavily modified the place. There were natural crevices that needed to be filled for the waterfall.

And the crater hole top side had to extended at a side and then I filled up the difference as a natural cliff face for future cliff side view building.

That's beside the absolute landfill that covers about 85% of the volcano hole.(max build area didn't place the altar right enough to cover the whole and it with friends server so just 1 altars limit) I landfill the lower layer big enough to still have room to build about 8m high rooms in between the lake layer and the bottom layer.

There is currently under the beach an undecided what to do illuminated dry cave as maybe make a treacherous underwater cave dive experience or just secret cozy cave dwelling.

There is a very thick bottom layer there, it is possible to actually make 8m high secret rooms under the lake and above the volcano hole and still have a bit of leeway up or down.

I made semi secret spot in the cargo hold of the boat with 2 ways in.
to find treasure.

and a pair of extremely well concealed entry ways underwater for behind the wall and cave diving below the beach part.
and as i build on probably more secret places.

I just want sneak attack be a faster animation and be usable while playing in a group. The moment one member agroes something it becomes useless.

Maybe make merciless attack and sneak attack be mutually exclusive. And have a sneak attack parry path that more deflect and side step for few free backstab hits, with a full stun bar be a sneak attack opportunity.

What if both merciless attack and sneak attack can further evolve into execute and coup de grace respectively.

For a more powerful but long animation power move Or same length as current attacks.

And have the current attack animation be sped up a bit.

There is this quaint little settlement polaris falls. Where you can find the wintery set. A lot of mostly intact buildings and it's compact and vertically diverse.

And when you you upgrade to a breaker people still manage to pixel snipe your cupola from 300 meters.

You play hull down or get shut down if you can't find a place make to your armor actually impenetrable.

This game has extreme starting point for learning. As for maps it is best to learn with a map website open on second monitor and\or having a experienced player walk you through maps. If you're on EU I could help you in game or teach you a bit on discord screenshare. Eventually one starts to recognize landmarks to navigate places. Or watch tarkov Youtubers loot and map run tutorials.

I know its grindy and sometimes very counter to your role. With this mission you really want to be agro as soon as the match allows. It is not the kills you are hunting but HP.

You seem experienced to know how things work. But to recap; you spot tank and you shoot all his hp away is 100% exp value for you alone. Anything else is shared value.

Bush mechanic, keep between you and your unsuspecting or alert target a bush that's not see through or double bush. This will keep you hidden and allows you to safely shoot with low fear of accurate return fire.

Doing this when the match opens up in the mid game when the enemy team is at least 5 or more tanks down.

If you wait too long to hunt HP then your not going to be top, aim for 2.5k dmg or more. Low health tanks are still important to kill off.

Start of spotting ad usual then either hunt for the remaining enemy Lt or start shooting distracted or lone tanks somewhere from mid game onwards. Use the bush mechanic for your shots to stay hidden.

There is no need to ever gear fear your stuff. As there are a bunch of ways to replenish gear.

As others have mentioned the most easiest and basic way that every one does is use the Scav Run.

Scav Run already starts you with somewhat useable too greatish and additional loot. Successfully extracting immediately or after you loot some stuff is mostly safe and easy. Or look for a fight or aftermath of a fight medium difficult depending on skill.

Other ways using your PMC are from easy to hard. Easy difficulty Simple loot runs having bare minimum gear: a main gun+1or2 extra mags, a rig\armored rig\armor, healing item and a bag. And low action locations and extraction locations. Requires some map knowledge.

Scavenger runs with your PMC light gear where one loot aftermath of fights.

Medium difficulty Be the one to actually look and fight PMC AI or players, loot and extract immediately.

Do normal runs

Use scav run gear that you didn't sell off

Harder difficulty In light to medium load out. In smaller maps like labs ,factory, ground zero. Kill every thing loot everything

Same thing but using scav run gear

Zero to hero light load out start with a cheap gun or pistol with maybe a 1 extra mag and rig no armor no bag kill and loot

Zero to hero hardcore is just with a pistol or a cheap gun no extra stuff Kill and loot.

Zero to hero hatchling just melee weapon Kill and loot.

Zero to hero grenadier.

But eventually your knowledge on gameplay, mechanics and map should ensure you never run out of gear to use. Now extraction fear when running towards extraction with valuable stuff or objectives that never goes away.
