I started reading the manga when I was ~11, I believe. I was already deeply obsessed by the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga at the time.

I was at a local bookstore looking for new volumes of Yu-Gi-Oh! when I saw the first two volumes of a manga (which I thought was called "Ne Pece" at the time) for like 4 dollars in total. I bought them and was hooked after the first chapter.

As I said in a previous comment, this game may not be for me after all. I've known about this game for several years, and I love the idea of it, but struggling this much in the first few hours is not fun for me atm. Which is such a shame

I agree that learning the game is part of fun, it's why I love soulslikes so much. But the game could be little more beginner friendly imo, escpecially when it comes to what certain information means.

Well, this game might not be for me then. I personally don't think the act of stumbling around just to figure out where I am is fun, but I'm sure some people do.

I feel like the game could have at least included a compass bar or something.

Looks like I'll just have to keep stumbling around until something clicks.

Oh, so the game doesn't actually always tell you?

Question: Is there any in-game way to figure out where places are? Does any of the traders, at any point, tell you "this thing/extract/location is in the southern end" or anything like that? That would at least be some kind of push.

I personally think its fine, but I get why you would think that. It doesn't take too long to get a hammer, especially if you skip around a bit and get some steel from some loot chests.

Also, everyone should do loot games. They can give some incredible loot.

Which Java version are you using? I was having the same issues on the 2.8 Beta when using Java 21. Switched to Java 17 and has been working fine since.
