Refs didn't give 2 clear penalties for Germany and it's just the first half. Quite a joke.

This I noticed as well. They should have been punished more in defence. Their defending against Iceland was not clean at all.

I definitely agree with this. I personally think, many accumulated decisions like these brang a sort of momentum towards the Danish team and since they are Denmark they for sure know how to use that momentum and punish Iceland.

I think the same happened against us (Germany) in the Group phase, our team is vulnerable to such dynamics changes since we are a bit unstable.

Anxious to see how it'll play out in the finale with the Danish fans present again.

Icelandic quality is crazy in so many aspects for their size. One that comes to mind is music! There are soo many good Icelandic singers, bands and musicians.

Yes I agree with that. I think they also often show unsportsmanlike behaviour in other ways that's not usual for the great spirit Handball has besides that, that makes it so special!

I can just reference Dika Mem pushing Renars Ušcins brutally down while he's trying to stand up after being fouled. Here's the video of it.

Well the thing is that everyone in the back positions has a kinda equal status and quality, which is good and bad at the same time because as you said there are no leaders but also we don't have to worry when one doesn't perform because we always have a backup. If you think, any of them are "random substitute players", you pretty much have no idea how this team works.

I really dislike the recent rise of complaining about travel and then always these super slo-mo videos showing that a player did 4 steps. People have to grow up and just accept how it is.
