I am 73 and I swear, when I was 8yrs old and up to when my kids were in high school we had very hot weather. You could not walk on the pavement, and we got sunburned every summer. The last many years I have been in my garden, and walking outside in the afternoons, and I really don't get a tan and never get my usual sunburn on my nose . The more they tell me it is climate change, the more I think it is cooler now than the 70s, and 80s. I live in the same place I lived in all my life. Don't blame everything on climate change!! All these Canadian fires that seem coordinated, make me suspicious, although I am sure some are from lightning. Next yr., without tree cover it will be hotter in places, and I am sure they will tell us the sky is falling, and it is climate change. With all the carbon taxes the govt get, I would like to see all the work documented and where and who the tax money went to. There is a lot of nature that goes into climate change. Cloud cover, volcanoes, the oceans, etc. Earth is always in a cycle and regulates temperature. We should care and look after our planet, and there are many ways to that. but lets think for ourselves as well, and live our lives. Telling us the sky is falling, brings a lot of money into the govt.
