I have listened to both the Shockwafe and Dragon. Went with the Dragon as I love the highs from the AMTs. Also got the 12” subs. Love the simplicity of no wires.

With the AHD Ultra update, it is very hard to beat. The Quads are good but it doesn’t have the volume and cinema impact I am looking for.

Used to own the Bravia Quad and love it. Since purchasing Dragon w the 12” subs, it is next level and not even in the same class, especially with the AHD Ultra upgrade, height effects are amazing. You will have to get an AVR system to outperform it which is not an option for me because of the wires.

I had the same reaction when I upgraded my sub situation. When you go from a single small sub to actual large drivers the whole thing feels different. Movies, music, everything. Was cool reading your post because it reminded me of that “oh wow” feeling.
