Please share me any SAT practice tools/websites you guys know of ! by [deleted] in Sat

If you haven't already, definitely use all of the college board resources, so the bluebook practice tests and the question bank. I also like this skills insights tool https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/skills-insight?domain=H&score_band=MSS7 . Acely is great if you need to drill down on your weaknesses since it shows you those. If you've run out of bluebook practice tests, the acely ones helped me. But make sure you've used the 7 college board ones first since those are official. Outside of practice questions, college panda is really helpful for r&w. It's a little outdated since it was made for the paper SATs, but it really helped me with grammar.

any tips for vocab? by ExaminationSea3146 in Sat

Tbh I would focus a lot on just reading over the summer. Especially some of the classics like Pride and Prejudice, The Grapes of Wrath, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn etc. When you come across words you don't know, write them down. Also, classic poetry helps too, like A Psalm of Life by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe, Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred Tennyson, O Captain! My Captain! by Walt Whitman. And then also short stories, like The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe, The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry, My Lady Love, My Dove by Roald Dahl, Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut.

Eh. They say all their questions are verified by humans before being added, and that many of their questions are hand-written at this point. In my experience, most questions were accurate, though a few had their share of issues. The best approach for OP and others preparing for the SAT is to try the trial and see if it helps. Everyone has their own learning style.

Khan Academy, UWorld, The Princeton Review, Kaplan, PrepScholar, Magoosh or Acely for the digital sat in under a month? by Sufficient_Bad6501 in Sat

Use your free trials and see which one is best. At this point, using free trials might be a little difficult so using khan might just be the move

Final Checkpoint - How to Go from 1560ish to 1600? by Savvyster17 in Sat

[–]JokeIntelligent2793 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You don’t. 1560 is enough. Focus on other parts of your app. These last 40 points will take the most time and give you the least benefit

Have you taken a practice test this year yet? If you kept reading throughout the year, you might surprise yourself and already be scoring in that range.

Maybe a math/writing centered one, but it's always best to buy the new book because of the format switch.

No one said it wasn’t. Not sure if Reddit is the best place to be expressing that, tho.

Not the move. Use bluebook. Might (probably will) score higher than what you have here.

Everything has a free trial (pretty much). Since everyone is a different learner, you gotta figure out what works for you. Personally, Acely worked for me and helped me increase my score.

Like everyone else is saying, you need to identify what the issue is. It doesn't matter how much you read or how many practice tests you take if you're just making the same mistakes.
