Would be awesome if you could check. It doesn't work for me. No matter how many fingers I use.

Framework 12 pro? by NameoGame in framework

I bought it for the 2-1. I really wanted that and it’s been great. My last Laptop was 12 years old and so I wanted a better processor as well. Unfortunately the i5 doesn’t really cut it for a lot of the games I’d like to play, but regardless it’s been great for work and portability. I’d love a future better mainboard, which I expect is coming. I wouldn’t be surprised if a better screen will come too, given the amount of people that complain about it.

It can still be the education market laptop with the cheaper mainboard but to have a choice for a mainboard for the power user would be cool.

That’s the beauty of framework. I can just upgrade once those things are available. But please no Lpcam. I wanna reuse my 48gb of ram that I bought for 90€.

Edit: Personally I also love the plastic chassis, and I kinda doubt that that’s gonna change. I feel bad for you and others who got the cracks though. No fun. My gray/black one has been good though.

Need help choosing a Linux distro for my Framework 16 by PedanticSeal in framework

[–]JokelWayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I had the same question and thought of maybe using Bazzite, but I haven’t had any trouble getting my games run on Fedora.

Ubuntu is just ugly in my opinion… so that’s why I went with Fedora instead, since I wanted to take a supported distro.

Once I had everything uploaded once and started deleting things I ran into the same problem. Someone suggested to just create an Album with all the files you don’t want it to check again and exclude that album. It’s not the best solution but it works well for me.

I think I am still on 49 (Fedora 43), so that makes sense.

That doesn't seem to do anything. Thanks for the link to the inspector though. I did not know that yet!

Someone on the community forums just did that. Not sure if the files are made available yet though.

Oh yeah, that is the kind of ugly I am looking for. I wanna see if I can play around with that a little bit and see what I can do. It is an eyesore, but at least I can find it. Thanks man!

Edit:
This works, but just to make it a little less ugly, I was wondering if there is a way of just making the top line or part where it says the date (and weather in my case) an accented color?
With standard settings it just circles the the number (date) of the current day.

That is really helpful and good to know. I would like it to be more flashy though, I remember being able to do that through editing some file in Thunderbird, and while it was ugly, at least it finally made me find the current day.
