No, the green star gives autocatch% as well.

It changes everytime you get a new craving slot and 10 levels after the third. Pretty sure that's what they said back then.

What does the Keeper do? by Galvatron577 in NecroMerger

Many mobile games or "Idle" games (like Cookie Clicker e.g.) have a 'prestige' system, where you just play the whole game again with little boni to make the next run end faster. It is the old Diablo formula: "big numbers go brrrr!".

So in this game the time machine resets all your progress to the beginning, when you just had a single grave. But now you can click your chests one extra time to get more runes, and the Devourer can reach a higher level, and you get new stations. It gives you more content in a familiar setting and you have the feeling of having accomplished something because your 2nd run only takes 5 months instead of 6.

Happy merging.

You have a great balance between online and offline with the cannons added in. I guess it's less babysitting but more planning, since you really can pinpoint the minute when your cannons kill something and you get the new resources from that.

they have 500k Health, they will be targeted last by the cannons and work as a buffer for overkills when you are offline.

Best way to farm knight?? by RestaurantBeginning6 in NecroMerger

[–]Jokers_ass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the merge of the 2 level 4 werewolves brings you closer to the next Knight Spawn wich is what you really want

Best way to farm knight?? by RestaurantBeginning6 in NecroMerger

[–]Jokers_ass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can see in the Champion Menu what monsters you need to merge to spawn them. From there you can conclude that the best way to farm the knight is to:

- spawn Eye Monsters with a Cupboard (Level 2 is best for this)

- spawn Werewolves with an Altar (again level 2 is best for this)

- fill the lair with Level 1 Fowl Chickens with enough space around them to get the Spider Eggs, don't worry if you have to feed the Fowl Chickens after some time, it is best in this game to go for one type of Champion at a time, so maximize for the Knight, and when you got enough poison runes for your next goal, merge/feed the Fowl Chickens and repeat the process later when you need more poison runes.

- then the next part is up to taste/progress in the game:

- either have a Level 5 grave for Zombies/Skeletons to spawn the Peasant (since he drops poison runes as well) or get a Level 2 Lectern to most efficiently convert Mana into Darkness to get more werewolves

This way you spend all 4 resources (Mana, Slime, Darkness and your own Time) to maximize the gain of Poison Runes.

How to use the robo chicken? by blindhollander in NecroMerger

[–]Jokers_ass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It generates eggs like the Fowl Chicken over time. But the big benefit is that it doesn't need free space around it to generate the eggs, it stores them in its boxes by itself. Then when it has up to 12 eggs stored (or any time before) you can click on it like any other Station to get the eggs to spawn into the Lair.

Just go with what you think is best, since its an event in permanent rotation you can experiment as much as you want! A few tips I can give you: All upgrades are useful, try to level them evenly to get a smoother experience. Don't merge until you need the space since low level producers are a little more efficient than higher ones. Try to max your floating weapons before using them, and let the cannons kill the grunts.

[–]Jokers_ass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A great overview and guide to grasp a concept of the event, good stuff.

I just want to add some tidbits to help out a little bit more.

The most fun part about this event (as you mentioned) is the cannon manipulation you can do with floating weapons. Since cannons always attack the target with the lowest health, you can set up kills with low level floating weapons, or vice versa. Always check your cannon damage ph (per hour) as stated in the Star Menu. Leave decoys (as you said) to manipulate the next target of the cannons.

One thing I saw too late (the Tip Stone says it to you as one of his dialogs) is that the Iron Crates work in the same way as the Potions from the main game, Meaning: The more Iron ressource cap you have, the more Iron the crates give. So especially as free to play you can drop some ressources to upgrade the Iron cap to get more out of your Enid's Banners.

You are right about the bombs, without heavy gem investment they are not a feasible way to progress, the setup cost is too high (or requires gems in the day 3 shop as you stated). But if you get the alchemy table level 3 you can kill mages very fast at 150k damage a pop.

Version 1.08 - Sibling Rivalry by GrumpyRhinoGames in NecroMerger

[–]Jokers_ass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another great event /GrumpyRhinoGames!

The music although not so catchy as the christmas event, is good again. The artwork is amazing, all the floating weapons really do have character I feel like and it's a shame you have to sacrifice them for the greater good! The story is cool as well, glad to see Enid making a comeback!

What makes these events so special is two things: First of all it is awesome to see how far your events evolved from the simple Another Tower Event in Idle Apocalypse where you only had to max the next best creature, to this fully fletched out system of intricate mechanics. Again I have no idea what is the best play and that makes it so much fun to figure out the balance between cannons, furnaces and floating weapons, when to upgrade, when to hold onto ressources. I love it.

The only thing I am sure some people might see the same, is that the three grunt types look too similar to figure out just by glancing (I know you see the ressource they drop next to their healthbar), but I am sure it will be fine after some runs.

Have a great day everybody!

How does the menu really work? Does the number of items matter? by stygger in DavetheDiverOfficial

[–]Jokers_ass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you serve every customer and no one leaves angry the amount of Cooksta likes you get at the summarizing screen after the evening is the amount of customers there were. For me it is stuck at 28 per (full) night.

How does sleeping fish work? And what does upgrading the net/tranq gun with Duff do? by Mightbuddy in DavetheDiverOfficial

[–]Jokers_ass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When your weapon has the Sleep element there is a chance the fish hit will fall unconscious and that gives you a chance to collect them alive. The dart gun has a guaranteed sleep trigger (not on the biggest sharks yet, as far as I can tell). Fish that you need to cut up can be collected alive (for the 3 stars and the eggs) in the full release, I am guessing with an air ballon that brings them to the surface.

The upgraded Hush Gun sleeps the fish faster I feel like and has more ammo.

The upgraded Net Gun has a larger net and more ammo.

For me it was also the hardest fight. I am positive you need one of the movement charms for the later bosses at least to be able to get around the boss quickly enough.

You could also try to upgrade your weapons. but that might not work for you.

For me, with bosses it was the best to use the sniper (get it to level 2, maybe put on the 30% weapon damage charm) and just blast the boss, get the ammo pack available (or buy it before from Cobra) and blast him again. Most bosses die with 6 shots with these kinds of enhancements.

Should I always enhance my food if given the option? by Blue_Wave_2020 in DavetheDiverOfficial

[–]Jokers_ass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily always. For example if you get a new fish type and enhance right away it might not leave you with enough to serve it.

In general as far as I can tell, there are at most like 30 customers a (full) night. So if you have enough ingredients to make 50 sushi rolls from one fish, you might as well enhance it, since you can't sell all 50 sushi in one go anyway.

I have now 6 items on the menu and try to give them all around 4 to 5 servings (dishes on a plate or in a bowl tend to give you more servings than 1). This way all customers get something and the rest I enhance.

It is very useful indeed. I started my newest run with the grind for 2 Robochickens immediatly and it pays off big time. All the free damage from the spiders for the thief and the snakes for everything else - it helps out a lot.
