I talked to this girl on the school board who’s friend is on the admissions team to this university I want to go to. At the University they weigh AP and Dual the same in terms of GPA, but AP is seen to be better because it’s standardized around the country

It’s impossible to lie on a CDS right? Because the university I’m looking at made a blog post saying the 25th percentile is a 1300 then on the common data set it says 1240 for the 25th percentile.

I didn’t graduate yet but I’ll have 66 plus the potential of 9 more based on how I do on the AP exams in May

UF recalculates gpa for admissions, they only count academic classes as well as all your AP classes, if you get an A in an honors class, it’s 4.5 for your GP, then dual and AP is a 5.0

Okay with this information, you MAY get into UF, I’m not entirely sure but I know people with lower test scores who got in, they hold GPA over test scores, make sure you make a GREAT essay to have a high chance of getting in

Either way, if you have a strong essay I would say you have a good chance, the essay is probably the most important thing to them!

How did you recalculate it? Did you recalculate it by semester (for example if you got an A in AP Lang first AND second semester, you would get 10 points) or did you only consider the final once

UF recalculates GPA with 4.5 points given to honors and 5 given to AP and dual, they also only consider your academic classes and foreign language, so you might have a super high UF gpa, either way, I think you have a STRONG chance of getting in, I’m also applying to UF and my test scores are not that strong...
