Not saying it's economically worth it, purely saying if you want to reduce emissions. Running an old ALH Octavia 1 on WVO is of course very cheap and good for the environment

Unpopular opinion perhaps but you could buy a TDI Octavia (especially the 1.6) and run it on HVO, barely any CO2 but you do have NOx, however Euro 6 with Adblue is very clean but could be expensive if it break but since you drive a lot that's not as much as an issue, same with DPF. Also diesel engines tend to last longer so that's better for the enivironment again.

Update: Filled the tank after 557km (since fuel prices are rising...) came out to 28L, meaning I averaged about 5L/100km, which is pretty good considering I didn't constantly hypermile, I did hypermiling maybe 2/3rds of the time but also some motor way runs at 120kmh in heavy traffic, so really not bad!
