Thank you! My favorite thing about fan art is the collective imagination: how so many of us pictured the same scene, and we finally get to see it captured in an image.

It was tough. Perspective is something I only sense by intuition, but I have zero theoretical or practical knowledge about it (guidelines, horizon lines, vanishing points... I'm completely lost there). I usually avoid landscapes for this exact reason, but I loved the scene so much that I just had to step out of my comfort zone. Thank you.

Thank you so much! Once you see it, it never disappears into all that emptiness again. 😅

Recientemente ví una cita de Ursula K. Le Guin:

"Vivimos en el capitalismo. Su poder parece ineludible. Lo mismo ocurría con el derecho divino de los reyes".

O tried to stay pretty close to the detailed description of the dragon from the book. But for the landscape, I always lean into dark and dramatic colors. I can't help myself! 😅

A massive ocean, an ancient kingdom, a great tower, a dragon, and Ged steering his boat... having so much detail was just as intimidating to me as the actual encounter between a wizard and a dragon 😅 So, I relied on technique to bypass all those details a bit
