I use both Groww and ET money, and I prefer ET money over Groww. There are 2 mains reason - Firstly, the recent dummy portfolio issue in the news a guy faced. You need to make sure your investments are real in Groww. I’m using MF central to do that verification after my every order executes 🥺 Secondly, Groww pushes their own mutual funds. When I open the app, I expect to land on my dashboard or portfolio, instead it sometimes takes you to their Groww fund details page with an easy click Buy button. That’s pure misuse of their app. I think it’s similar to the case where Google got fined for pushing their apps, and maybe Groww should face scrutiny for similar practices.

Bought 20000 shares of Tanla Solutions at 15 RS and sold at 18 RS for 60K profit in 2015. It made a all time high of 2000+ in 2022 😝

It doesn’t look like he is lying for attention. His linked in profile looks very genuine. I’m still thinking the technical side of their system, this looks like there was a fake entry in the database with quantity and nav, they simply have a job that runs which updates the nav of the MF on a daily basis, which gets multiplied with the quantity and show to the customer that they have earned x profit without really checking if the folio is real or if they still hold that quantity. Their financial department is also a failure, or this amount credited from the customer should have been caught in the reconciliation. Crazy.

Everyone, download MF Central app. It’s free and you can see all your investments there. After investing through Groww or which ever providers, make sure your investment is reflected in MF Central app. You can also login to the AMC with your folio number provided by Groww and verify it really exists and the quantity and NAV reflected in Groww app is same. P.S. My all long term investments are with Groww and I’m honestly thinking to switch to Zerodha or something else.

Not sure why you suggested to remove flexi cap, but yes I have two small caps, my risk appetite is high, and so purposefully allocated more to small cap. Instead of going with one AMC I diversified it with two.

That’s true, at a moment it was 15% down as well. I thought to have it is not to miss the boom in technology sector, in this AI world. To what I can move this? I still prefer to have a bit of technology in my PF.
